    That's fine Europeans, Well just take back our Marshall plan grants, amounting to about 2.46 TRILLION dollars, I'm sure you're economies can handle giving that back right now. Not to mention you can go ahead and reset your economies back to their 1946 levels, and while we're at it, might as well have cut off Lend Lease, so enjoy Hitler occupying your countries Russia and England.....

    And give us back our movies, our ipads, our personal computers, the internet, telephones, light bulbs (electricity for that matter), zippers and microwaves....

    Enjoy sitting in the dark reading your crappy Jane Austen novels

    But if you want me to be serious then here I go.
    1. You can't take back the Grants you gave out because those were free of charge and asking for them back is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. How are we going to enforce that? War? I assume you mean way back when we were giving that out. If that is the case I hope you enjoy watching millions of people die. I'm sure the American people will accept watching tens of millions die (allied and enemy) for no other reason than greed.
    2. The Lend Lease stuff already happened so yeah can't take that back. Once again I assume you mean take it back when we were giving that out. Even then, so what? Germany never could have pulled off an invasion of England without divine intervention and that's well documented lend lease has nothing to do with. Same goes for Russia, they would have eventually have turned back the Germans with or without our help.
    3. What? Are you going to stop all those products from coming overseas? Ruin their profitability? How? Even if you could find some way just because Americans invented them first (with help from Europe and building off their ideas I might add) It doesn't mean Europeans couldn't invent them too, especially considering the designs would already exist.
    4. Love how you skip over all the cultural achievement of Europe and go straight to Jane Austen. Nice.

    By the way, I want to point out that European countries economy's could probably handle giving back those grants better than we could. And Europe can just have it nukes back please, Einstein was German. Can we have our immigrants back while your at it? That would provide a significant boost to our workforce. (Wrote it from a European standpoint, I am still a US citizen :p)

    For the record I was, at most, 10% serious with my post. Just highlighting some of the good we've done the world.

    There's good discussions about it in the earlier days of the history section, but I think you're seriously underestimating the impact of lend lease. Britain would have starved and lacked the material necessary to wage war against Hitler, and Russia wouldn't have been able to rebuild/resupply her forces after the invasion without all of the infrastructure we gave them.
