    Welcome to the forums.
Make sure to never trust the Dutch.

    Questions!!!
    1. Which country are you from (even though it's blatantly obvious).
    2. Tell us some history about the town or city you live in.

How did you know?! I tried to be subtle. By the way, nice profile pic, long live the Master!
Well I don't know much about the Dutch but they seem cool.
    Thanks man.
    The Dutch look pretty trustworthy.
    1. Yes it is
    2. I'm from the City of Guadalajara, it was founded as a Spanish Colonial city and today serves as one of the cultural centers of Mexico. And its pretty comfortable living there, if you have the money. Right now I currently live in Honolulu, Hawaii, Although I'll be moving back to Mexico soon.

Welcome to the forums , how is life in the motherland? and do you have any political concerns about it? I've never had a political discussion with someone from actual Mexico before unfortunately the only place I have been in Mexico is acapulco and El Jefe, looking forward to speaking with you more. Although I am emotionally inveted in the politics there. I'm Mexican too btw, half Mexican half salvadorian with a hint of native American.

Life in the motherland is well, depending on the income. My family can be considered middle class and so we live a comfortable life in the Suburbs (yes there are suburbs in Mexico). The economy is going very good and growing. The drug war currently is getting more dangerous. In Jalisco, the Sinaloa Cartel and the Gulf Cartel (Zetas) are battling over territory. Suffice to say it isnt safe to go out after 9pm. On Politics the elections are this year and I am rooting for Manuel Lopez Obrador of the PRD (Party of the democratic Revolution). But right now polls are pointing that Enrique Peña is in the lead and he is the candidate for the PRI ( Institutional Revolutionary Party).

I also support the PRD but what is your opinion on the PRI and its roots the national revolutionary party?

Currently the PRI is trying to repair its image after about 40 years of corruption. It first started out as a party similar to the PRD but after Cardena's presidency the rest of the party saw the financial opportunities of the nationalization of oil and soon they turned to corporate interests which soon started to spark corruption in the party. The Mexican economy was booming in the 70's as my father witnessed it and also in the 80's. But then came Salinas who, though a financial genius, bankrupted the country, put us in debt with America. In my opinion the PRI care about economic growth but they neglect the standard of living of Mexicans especially those in parts like Chiapas and Guerrero, which is why the EZLN came about.
