So, the galaxy in shores of hazeron was just reset, which means all of the empires have been destroyed, and have to restart from the beginning. So, what better time to return to the game? For those who didn't play with us last time, shores of hazeron is essentially an mmo version of 'What spore should have been'. A player starts off by creating a species, and is put on a huge planet, where they have to found their civilization. Slowly, they build up a city, allowing other players to join. Then, said civilization reaches the space age, where they are thrown into a galaxy consisting of, from what I remember, millions of systems, each with up to 20 planets, and tens of billions of randomly generated creatures. From there, players must explore the galaxy, design their own spaceships, which they command from the interior, build cities and colonies, and do all sorts of space-y stuff. I'm not good at explaining stuff, so I will copy a bit out of the games FAQ. Lucy (Inquisitor) has just founded our civilization, which is now open for people to join. The game is completely F2P, so you have no excuse not to play. JOIN NAO! ('N stuff) http://www.hazeron.com/
Why haven't you been on Wurm? Why do I get the impression that I joined a game only for it to be abandoned?
Yeah, but if you convince someone to join something, you can at least be the last one out and get the lights.
So it doesn't run well? Try lowering the graphics. I have a pretty new computer, but even I can't run it at the highest setting. Or even close to that for that matter.
Wurm is just an un-fun version of Minecraft. Shores of Hazeron is pretty cool, but it's extremely user-unfriendly and has a near vertical learning curve.
