Except it was Bush who set the 2014 timeline not Obama.

So? Obama didn't have to keep the 2014 timeline. He could have just extended to who knows when. Instead he is keeping on schedule.

Oh God the thought of three Bush family members becoming the President fills me with fear. Even if Jeb is more like his father then his brother. I completely agree about the whole Sarah Palin thing. News outlets can get desperate for stories so they bring up crazy people who don't really matter because they don't have anything better to do (like cover the civil war in Syria). I try not to bring her up unless it concerns the 2008 election, that's the only point in time when she was ever relevant. Now she's just a moderately funny FOX news contributor.

Wow he kept a timeline. What an amazing accomplishment. People need to stop giving him credit for things he hasn't done. I'd also like to bring up the enourmous deficit he's created. Yes Bush spent to much but not nearly at the rate Barry Soetoro has.

Most of his military advisers have told him to extend the war considerably. If Bush were still here, or if John McCain was here instead, I think they would have listened to that advise. Obama has not listened to that advise and stood his ground. Not a huge achievement mind you but it is a good one at least.

So a man with absolutely zero military experience disregarding the advice of his generals is a good thing? When it comes to war I trust the Military over some community organizer who isn't even an American citizen.

If the advise is to extend a war that no longer has a point and cost us over a trillion dollars in the second worst recession we've ever seen then yes it is a good thing.

The war didn't cause the recession. The main cause is way to much entitlement spending. Liberals need to unite under one flag. It's symbol? A couch and some foodstamps. Obama wants everybody to get a handout. He detests ideas like hard work and American exceptionalism.

I like how you assume shit with every post I make. I did not say that the Wars caused the recession. I only implied that they contributed to the deficit. Food stamps cost around 7-10 billion a year anyhow. However military spending costs over 700 billion dollars a year. Math is your friend. What are you saying anyway? That we should just stop giving out food stamps? Watch all those people go without a meal? What's your damn solution?

I'm pretty sure thats his solution. If it was to him he would just give kill them.

On a another note, although I would really like for this war to end the reason why military advisers want to stay longer is because Afghanistan is in no way stable. They fear that the Taliban could overpower the current government and undo the progress made by coalition forces.

Who gives a fuck anymore. The Afghans don't want us there, our own citizens don't want us their. I don't get how our own generals think we have made progress, when there are still suicide bombers in Kabul and throughout the so called "safe zone". And OBL is dead, so who gives a damn. The whole point of us being in Afghanistan is gone. We have done irreparable damage to the Taliban (but not wiped them out), and therefore, we should leave. The end.
The war was not the main cause of the recession, but it sure as hell contributed to it. Our current military spending is over 700 billion! The costs of both wars as of last year (so it is obviously quite more) was around $3.7 trillion dollars. So yeah, it is BIG!

Yeah I agree, with OBL dead there isn't a clear objective anymore, there is no leader to kill or a city to capture, there isnt any specific objective. So yeah, lets just leave.

Yes that's exactly what I'm saying. I'm tired of all the leeches in this country who collect welfare while they do nothing but sit on their asses spitting out babies. Let the trash starve nothing of value would be lost.

Yeah besides tens of millions of lives. Clearly nothing of value to you. Oh yeah and I'd like to see you live one day in the shoes of the average person on welfare. See how long you last. Considering you views on race I'd say not more then a day.

If those tens of millions are wastes of space then yes I could care less. It sounds harsh but the reality is we have to many people in America that are simply life unworthy of life.

Ever hear of this guy? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler
I think you might like him. He'd agree with you. Hell, he even implemented that thought process in an entire country. It was a fun event called Action T4 and you read about it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_T4 I don't know much of the details but I'm sure it all worked out for him in the end.

Right, sure. I don't ever hope of convincing you, but let me say this. Imagine you were one of the 8% unemployed. And you had no money, and there were no food stamps. You would starve. You would become nothing more than a leach, as you say, who would steal money to pay for food, or whiskey. And stop saying that those who collect welfare are the assholes in this situation. To make a small business requires money that they don't have and all other jobs are being applied for by the other millions of people. So stop saying they are a plague to this country!

At this point, I feel mentally exhausted from this debate, and suggest we try and refocus back to the 2012 elections.
