This isn't really close to weird foods or eating in general,But I snorted up Paprika...twice.
It burned like hell,I couldn't smell anything for a few minutes and my eyes watered like hell.
    Do not try this.EVER.

When I was in Japan, they will feed you everything they can drag up from under the sea. While I was there I ate a sea urchin, a sea cucumber, jellyfish, squid, octopus. I even had squid jerky, it was really fucking nasty.

Lute fisk. Dried fish soaked in lut (sort of poison) then washed out for 3 days before eaten. It's fucking disgusting.

Ate lutfisk today, I liked it allot actually. The fish itself was not special at all but the cook made something fantastic with the dish.

I've eaten snails, and I quite frequently eat fried squid, it's awesome.
As for other "strange"animals, I've eaten stingray and ostrich.

I come from an Asian family, and I am a food critic/aficionado.

So I've seen and tried everything.

But I did try Octopus once...tasted like fish (surprise surprise).
Also oisters(?) taste pretty bad, I don't know why people like it so much.

Ugh, oysters. There's not too much food I don't like, but oysters are definitely among them.

I ate Indian food a few days ago... it is one of the most confusing food groups you can eat from. Its extremely good, but you end up feeling weird and confused after your first plate. Also, Curry. Lots. of. Fucking. Curry.

Curry's awesome. Such a shame I don't know of any good Indian restaurants near where I live.
