do you ever think humans will give up meat and eat just plants. the arguments for a vegetarian revolution is that meat is a very inefficient source of food because you need to feed the animal. but an argument for eating meat is that we are omnivores so we can eat

The concept of never consuming bacon for the rest of my life is just too unsettling, therefore I can not involve myself on this debate.

The fact we can isn't much of an argument, but I can't see meat disappearing too quickly. Nevertheless, in an overpopulated world, the staples of wheat, rice and corn are surely most important. That and cattle ranches, factory farming and cruelty in general are hardly compatible a world where environmentalism and liberty are so popular.

I don't see it happening anytime soon, and if it does, I prefer it to happen after I'm dead.

I read a Tom Clancy book about this once. Basically some vegetarians developed a super virus to kill all the non-vegetarians, and since they were super rich they had this private army but it was destroyed by 12 guys with vastly superior automatic weapons.

I don't think it will ever happen. The human body isn't build for a vegetarian diet. Eating meat is healthy (don't eat too much off course) and getting all the required minerals and vitamins will just be annoying with extra stuff you have to buy to stay healthy. And also, people like meat way too much and I'm a 100% it will stay this way in the future. We are, after all, omnivores.

We're going to destroy every vegetarian in a debate with that argument.

Vegetarians forget the good stuff that you get from meat. For example, fish is very helpful for people. And last time I cheked, we don't have to feed fish unless they are farmraised.

Most vegetarians only don't eat meat, and apparently, fish is not meat or something. Anyway, as far as I know, most vegetarians eat fish.

Fish is not meat?! Da fuck? And I have a vegetarian whom I'm friends with at my school and he doesn't even think about touching fish.
