It affected George W. Bush foreign politics, didnt it?

It's not about the results of this poll, iots about the question. No one in Europe would think about asking that question in the first place, because it is a dumb one.

Again, they are not mandatory. You are not forced to be a member of the church. Also, the Vatikan is the seat of the Pope.... there is no populace there except the bishops and the swiss giard who live there. Not really a "state" per se.

So, which dogma am I following then? Because there is no "Atheist Dogma"....

There could be. Dogma pertains to any kind of position, I believe.

Aside from having negative dealings with some Islamic countries, how so?

Never know what the answer will be until you ask.

They still have a government that officially has a hand in religion, unlike the US, and there is no forced indoctrination by the state into a religion. I knew the Vatican was a stretch, I just thought I'd include it.

Here is the definition of a dogma.

"Prescribed doctrine proclaimed as unquestionably true by a particular group" I'm pretty sure that all atheists hold that the non-existence of God is unquestionably true.

Since atheists vary that much and have no form of organisation that speaks for more than a few hundred of us, I don't think there is one ;) Just ask the athists on this board, you wouldnt find one that agrees with my point of view to an degree that even comes close to 100%.
I tell you, I am really open minded. If some god does appear tomorrow in front of me, I will change my mind and admit that I was wrong. But I do think that this will never happen, and till then I will say so tll i take my last breath!

    EDIT:

But the point is, that the question is mood. It should not matter if or to what entity someone prays to!

As I stated above, IF a god reveals himself to me right now, I would admit I that I was wrong and change my mind. I dont think that it will happen, or that there is a high probabillity. This is the exact opposite of beeing dogmatic.
If tomorow the Hindu god Hanuman reveals himself in India, and you would catch it in TV, would you convert, and say that christianity is wrong? I seriously doubt it....

Well, that pretty much disproves you being an anti-theist, because an ant-theist would deny any kind of deity even if said deity was standing right in front of them.

No, an atheist is someone without religion (greek for "without god"). Since I dont have a religion, I am an atheist.
To deny truth is unreasonable. If a god exists, and prooved his existence unfailably, than it is wrong to deny it. Again, I don't think that this day will come, but it is not impossible

Ah, I see. Well I live in Illinois, so I don't see much of that. I like how there's no data from Georgia.

Well, that's because Georgia is the wettest of the wet. So wet in fact, all the people that went there to gather data got drunk, and forgot their original missions.
I was referring to the fact Kali was calling you an anti-theist. Anti-theists are like super atheists, and they will never open their eyes or look at any religion. They will simply believe anything that goes against religion.

Well again, I didn't even heard of most of these organisations. Less that they would force a dogma on their members, which is to be followed and believed, even if prooven wrong! Atheists can be anything! Humanists, socialists, capitalists, anything. Atheism is not a defining aspect, uniting masses. It's a single answer to a single question.

I am also interested in the answer to my question: If tomorow a god of another faith reveals himself with undeniable proof, would you abandon your faith and convert, or not?

I'm not inclined to worship anyone/anything. I would question his/her/their motives and beliefs. But would I deny his/her/their existence? No, of course not.

No, but I would have given you an explanation why not specifically for the god you asked for ;) You know, because I actually looked into that stuff before making up my mind.

actually atheism is the lack of belief in a deities, not lack of religion.
buddhism is a very good example of that.
in buddhism there are no deities, since buddha taught that believing in gods was not useful for those seeking to realize enlightenment. In other words, god is unnecessary in Buddhism.

So you believe that no gods exist?

    EDIT:
Wrong, wrong, wrong. So many times I have to go over the same thing.

From what I studied about various gods, there is not one that has proven his existence. (again, I could be more specific if you would ask which god exactly)
Therefore I came to the conclussion that the possibility of their existence is lower than the possibility of their non-existence. So I don#t believe in them.
