    Yea this came to my school, it was really long, boring presentation, first thing on a monday morning(really stupid on their part, half the students were asleep). Basically telling us that using the retard is hurtful and inconsiderate to people who are actually are retarted. Then at the end they told us there would be like a poster or waiver or something in the cafateria that you could sign during lunch. Needless to say whatever idiots bought into the whole pledge thing forgot about it after a week. So it acomplished nothing.

    All it accomplished at my school was a bunch of people getting all prissy after you said retarted. People still said it, but people got all offended. I understand why people might find it offensive, but censorship is not the way to go.

    Yea some people were like that at my school, but only for like a week, then everyone forgot about there "pledge", and things went back to normal. And yea the whole idea is stupid, cenorship is never a good idea.
