That's true. Israel is doing that for self defense too. Iran wants the bomb to protect itself from Israel. Israel doesn't want them to have the bomb because that would jeopardize Israeli national security. Those two factors mean a preeminent strike by the Israelis, probably using aircraft against Iran's suspected nuclear facilities, will lead to a war in the region.

Are you completely oblivious to the fact that a quarter of our naval force is currently sitting in the Strait of Hormuz?
Or the 25000 troops that have been sent to Kuwait and Qatar to bolster the already tens of thousands of soldiers there?
Or how about the increasing number of American spy planes over Iranian air space?

If were not gearing up for war, then what are we doing?

And anyone who would advocate the murder of scientists on the grounds that they are a citizen of a certain state should be locked away from the public indefinitely.

Lastly, the president has made it very clear that he is willing to go to war with Iran over the issue.
And war is more than airstrikes.

We fought in Iraq to remove Sudan Hussein from power , anyway Iran is just a big clump of dog devils who wants to defy the west.

We pressuring the Iranian government to stop its nuclear program, because we might feat this might turn into a warhead. The U.S.A is just using its foreign policy of hard power to install fear to the Iran government.

The problem is, Iran is determined and it's so far overcome any fears they have.
Whether it's valid or not, their confidence is causing them to resist the sanctions and the political pressure imposed by the U.S.

Just quickly, why do we care so much if Iran gets a nuke? They should know that if they fire said nuke, then the world will blow them the fuck up. A desert country with cities will become a desert country with radiation.

Because Iran is one of those defiant anti-west countries.

And? If it launches a nuclear missile, then we launch a missile back. The Iranian leaders understand that by launching a nuclear missile entails their destruction, as every nation will turn against them.

They just want to be the big guy with the shiny weapons in the international community to taken more serious and establish a greater influence.

It is almost an inevitability in my opinion that at one point, some nation is going to launch a nuke. However, I don't necessarily believe that a nuke being launched is gonna result in a nuclear war. I think if anything, a missile would be launched to stop the nuke, and then, if we are talking about Iran, an invasion would ensue.

Its kind of certain a nuclear launch by a country is going to be meant with a nuclear war. But the only people I believe crazy enough to launch nuclear weapons are terrorists, and no country would nuke another country specifically to punish terrorists.

Let's say Iran launches a nuclear weapon. Instead of launching a boatload of nukes and having a nuclear holocaust, the US launches a nuke on Tehran and then invades.

Or doesn't launch any nukes in still invades. And kicks Iran's ass. Now that I think about, if Iran launched a nuke, then wouldn't the entire world attack Iran?

Exactly. If Iran launched a nuke, launching a bunch of nukes back would be pointless overkill.

They're entire country is a desert to be honest.

And the fact that an invasion wouldn't last that long either. Plus their nuke would be stopped before it could do any damage.

Unless they bombed those protestors in their country?

that would be counter-intuitive. They would be irradiating their own country.
