So it has come to my attention that we need a button that will show more previous status updates considering it only shows only 5 people's updates and pushes the others off.

I think we should comment more on people's status', instead of replying to a status with another status. If it is a reply, I'm never going to see it, and it clutters up the status bar. That would help, that would help a lot. This button thing is a good idea, but it won't solve status spam.

If this can be done, I don't see a reason this wouldn't be beneficial.

I think it is better to have an active not necessarily status spam list of status updates.

We could limit how many status updates you can post in a given time, or have someone monitor it.

But I mean if it is a really important status update there is always the forum to broadcast too, or perhaps we can make a "Approved important status update"

Hmm, ok. At the moment we don't really have a government so someone needs to speak for us.

The status updates in the sidebar is perhaps a little barebone atm.

Much like Stalin who is/has been in Finals, my "finals" period is approaching fast. I have 3 overdue essays to do & an end of year essay that needs doing (I know I'm terrible) revision etc. so consider my input minimal until the end of may.

When that's done I will have to set about on some updates, thanks to the Theme finally being update we can now update to the latest version of xenforo, which means I can upgrade the blog to the latest version (which is probably the most difficult things of the bunch) which means I'll finally be able to install the chatbox which hopefully will minimise the reliance on status' as a way of communication. That being said once all this is done I will look into improving the way the status' are handled.

P.S. if anyone wants to write my essay on the historical Jesus for me that would be ace because I feel the entire concept of trying to historically analyse that period of history in such detail is an exercise in futility.

How so? This seems like a very dodgy and unsupported answer. Could you speak for the numerous stories that has been written about Christianity?

Meh, this thread has received it's answer, and has no specific topic to work on now, it's a matter of time before it's locked.

I can't support it because I can't prove it. It is all a matter of belief.

And how heavily do you believe in Christianity? Will you take it with you to the depths of the Earth, believing that it will aide you?
