So he debunks a ludicrously stupid and Propaganda-spewing book, and he's biased.

so you agree with the black book of communism then? Also, he kind of did, and didn't really need to anyway, because Stalin didn't kill 40 Billion people or what ever crazy out-of-proportion number they're using.

well i'll just assume you believe the Black Book of Communism is 100% true then, and go about my business, as it feels like i'm explaining quantum physics to a rock, and, frankly, i have better things to do.

The levels that Fox News go to with their deliberate misleading of audiences should frankly be illegal!

It's not their bias that's the problem it's the outright lies and misinformation they spread. Feel free to only report half the news but for God sake at least report properly. You would never get that sort of shoddy, misleading news in England.

That was to do with with his newspapers using dodgy means to garner information but at least they were trying to find out actual facts & not just make stuff up. God the newspapers over here are terrible but I'm more talking about the mainstream televised news. I mean I can't complain about Sky News despite being owned by Murdoch, they always seems to be a very reasonable source.

The Mail is pretty bad now you mention it, but it's nothing compared to Fox news & besides I was only including the national televised news.

It's a joke of a paper but the sport coverage isn't terrible & it has some funny headlines.

It's up to the viewers to see the bias in the news, and for them to choose which news they really believe.

I don't think that overly biased news channels should be even considered as news channels. Would relabeling them as editorials or opinions similarly to what newspapers sometimes do work?

Biased is one thing, outright dishonesty is another. But that doesn't answer the question . . .

I guess it's impossible not to be biased in some level, but a little levelheadedness and understanding isn't to much to ask for. That being said, if people just stopped letting these news sources (all of them!) brand their agenda onto their minds this wouldn't even be a problem.

I'm late to the party. In theory, news should be objective and unbiased; but they are not, mainly because they are business. We had here a little problem with a group owning most of the newsprint, for example. Another thing that bothers me is when media takes the role of the police and auto-condemn someone as guilty (or vice versa).
