Several Midwest banks did support the German war effort and loaned the empire more than $2mil over the course of the war.

And since this thread is clearly just a scapegoat to glorify the already glorious Teddy Roosevelt, I feel that it is important to clarify that the Bull Moose Party is actually a short hand.
The party was actually called the "I'm Teddy Roosevelt and I don't need your damned party" Party.

I did not make it to glorify Roosevelt, I just like him, to tell you the truth I felt Wilson would still win this one.

It would make sense for Midwestern banks to support a German war effort, given how they have a lot of German residents.

You make it sound like it was a bad thing.
I'm only asking that next time you be more forward about it.
Praising Teddy Roosevelt is a good thing.
    And do ya think so?

...Are you just trolling? We made one little off topic gag. Throwing the "Strong" ad out there is just flame baiting. Now I could also post a video showing the millions of jobs Perry has created, but I am going to take the high road here & just say stay on topic.

To be honest, TR would maybe have entered a WW1 with a much more militarized America that may have even ended it earlier with less casualties, and may have even prevented the rise of Nazis.

The time when USA actually had more than two parties?! Well seeing how it's only two now either Americans think more the same, or USA has become less democratic.
