How can we even do that. Ler is mayor and appears to be apathetic to the village after the first week. There is no way I know to remove him without his consent. *searches for an answer Edit: From the wiki Villages can elect a new mayor by a successful vote, by using the command /vote. Success requires a majority: 51% of the votes if the village is a democracy, 81% if it is a dictatorship. Citizens may vote at any time, once per election. The election ends immediately whenever one candidate has received a majority of the votes, or when all votes have been cast. Elections can continue, even though the incumbent mayor is already clearly going to win, until a majority have voted. Each citizen is allowed only one vote per election, and can only vote for another citizen, not for themselves. A vote cannot be changed after it is cast. If a new mayor is elected, the deed transfers into their possession. Once an election is completed, a new vote will initiate a new election.
All good things come to an end. Even the unbowable mountain is weathered away by the winds and the rains in time. My friends, it is done. It is time for us to withdraw. The kingdom of Mol Rahan draws in around us and it is time to leave. They seek to secure their eastern borders and we stand in the way of that. I would make a last stand, but this is not about an individual. I will be resigning from Leningrad and joining a new deed. I do not take this lightly and it will forever burden me, but it must be done. I seek no forgiveness, nor do I fail to feel the shame, but I have no choice. For those who remain loyal to keeping an NKVD presence on Wurm Online, Zivina of Mol Rahan has offered us sanctuary. I have taken my tools, what I have justly earned, and "Gallia's War Ship". I have left a small barrel of gulash out in the northern docks of the village, beyond the houses. It should keep you until someone replaces it.
I'm assuming we were not able to get Ler's help. I shall join you as it will be nice to see a friendly face in Wurm. Although I will need help to know where to go. There is nothing that can be done we are but ants next to a waking giant.
Talk to Zivina of Mol Rahan. She is the new mayor of the Delirium (I am not sure on the spelling. Its the place that we named 'boblin'. The one further out in the lake.
Yes, its free to play. But the village set up from this thread (Leningrad) has largely disbanded and will soon dissolve. Those still playing have joined Delirium, a short bit away from Leningrad. I suppose that you can join, but Delirium wants premium players.
Oh ok.. I will try and play this game then.. seems interesting. Then i will be a sole wanderer then or rebuild Leningrad to its former glory.
My advice is to get a premium account and join a kingdom. Pvp will be starting back up on the server soon and you don't want to be caught out in the open. I can't guarentee that you will get in, but you can try and join Delirium. I cannot vouch for you beyond that you came from these forums, though. You probably want to go premium, since they are looking for premiums. If you are going non-premium, I can't say if they will let you in like they did with Falmer and I (we are planning on getting premium though). Also, post the name of your character so I can at least find you.
Sure ok, Ill try and get premium and if not what will happen? and I think I'll hold off on playing and creating an account until my new computer gets here in a few days or so..
They might let you into Delirium if you are a premium. I cannot guarentee if you are not. I cannot guarentee anything, really. All I can say is that being premium will help you get in and probably will help you be better at the game, since higher levels are locked without premium. Umm... I suppose that I should also mention that the mayor and the other premium player are... weary of people who they don't know. Apparently they have had some problems in the past with people infiltrating their ranks from other kingdoms and causing problems. That is what I meant that I cannot vouch for you beyond that you came from these forums. Don't let it deter you though. They would be glad to have some more premium players and they are really quite nice. Just don't betray them.
