I don't know about this...generally, an MMO kills a series for me. Now, I'm kinda new to TES, only having played Skyrim (and tried Oblivion, but I hated it), but for me, KotOR has been ruined by ToR. But, with this game being set way before the original story, hopefully it won't kill the single player games.

MMO's are getting much better as of recent years. They finally realized that they can't compete with WoW so they have to innovate. There has been allot of good successful MMOs as of late and it's really only starting to catch up.

Well, if they manage to keep (or even improve) the combat system and don't get the shitty press-numbers-and-everything-dies system, and don't charge you ridiculous amounts of money to just play the game, I might even pick it up.

Still, it remains an MMO, so I doubt I'll end up playing it.

That remains to be seen, I would wait for trailer (would it show any gameplay) before judging it.

True, although I prefer actual gameplay from an unbiased source.

They would be fucking insane not yo have F2P or it has to be a really awesome to compete in MMO market. People cannot afford to subscribe to multiple games, meaning they will have to compete with WoW and to be successful game has to be three times better than WoW.

Wait did they say that it takes place in Skyrim? But what about the other 7/10 of Tamriel are they just diode of life? Although since its set way in the past its probably before the rest of Tamriel was settled by humans, but hopefully there are Snow Elves in the game from before they were horrible transformed.

They did not say it takes place in Skyrim. The cover of GameInformer suggests that it does take place across the whole of Tamriel, as the front and back covers outline the entire map.

Also, GameInformer has released a new article that states the following: "As players travel through Skyrim, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and the rest of Tamriel they will encounter various dwarven ruins, ancient nordic tombs, decayed dwemer buildings, and many other ancient locales, some of which players may have discovered in previous Elder Scrolls games."

    After reading more into it:
Not made by Bethesda?! Hotkeybased wow clone?!
I'm going to just ignore that it ever existed.
