Maybe we should start doing this in Stockholm. We could have Syriantown, Turktown, Kurdtown and Arabiantown. I'm trying to think of any other group that has big influence. Sadly I don't think we have enough Chinese immigrant for a Chinatown most people with Chinese heritage is adopted by Swedish families.
They're founded by minority groups forming markets in a central ghetto... it's not as simple as saying you're going to start a Kurdtown...
You are just jelly because the Kurdish would have the bestest of a ghetto with clowns and you aren't invited. (If that's the case I don't think they will ever be made in Sweden)
The fun part about Chinatown is you can get a bus to any other part of the country for under $20. FFS though, you can take a chinatown bus anywhere between Boston and DC for like $18.99
I have been to turkey three times and trust me I know them. All they do is sit around waiting for people to come around so they have an excuse to drink really, REALLY sweet tea.
I hate the very idea of an ethnic enclave. In the six or so years since I moved to Spain I've done my best to avoid other Romanian people. It was probably for the best, they all suck anyway.
I don't think you know what to say, so you're just saying things to make yourself feel better. EDIT: Fucking gypsies.
Having chinatowns and barrios and all kinds of ghettos breeds racism and that's the last thing the advancement of minorities needs before they become fully intergrated or with further oppression segregation and manipulation they revolt. /rant
