    Once in a while we see documentaries about the USA. I am sure some of you see documentaries on your country as well. This documentary (or mockumentary) is a history of the CSA if they won the war and annexed the USA. So it is basically a reversal. How would the south be different in wars and domestic acts that the USA reacted to? Also, just like there are commercials in documentaries, this one has commercials to, but these commercials reflect a different society than today's if the USA one. So I will note that this is incredibly offensive. I just saw it and was wondering what you think.

    I remember seeing this some time back and the movie is a joke, but to be realistic even if the South did win the war most of the stuff that happens in the movie wouldn't of happened.

    Why would they annex the US? Its pretty funny and interesting, but even the start of it is horribly unrealistic.

    That's one of the most unrealistic things about it. The CSA just wanted to be its own country not take over the hole US at the time.

    IDK, its always good to listen to alternate scenarios in history. The problem is that alternate scenarios allow some people to do whatever the hell they want. Many people who make up alternate scenarios don't really care much for realism and do the most random things. Like this one:

    That is why we have Harry Turtledove. He actually makes realistic alternate history books unlike of the trash you showed us.

    Timeline 191 was an amazing depiction of a CSA that won the Civil War all the way up to WW2. Even if it mirrored reality a little too closely, it was still amazing.

    The mockumentary was hilarious, specially those commercials and how the southern folk were represented content,civil and their way of speaking is up to the etiquet.
