Wow that's bad. The worst case I noticed was the censorship of a documentary about Berlusconi's trials.
How can Italians stand for that? I wish your five stars movement luck, it looks a worthy cause.

its easy the majority of the italian population is made of old folks you know people that doesnt know how to use a computer or they dont know how to surf the internet so if the tv says something different from reality they lacking other ways to reach even the smallest piece of free information they end up believing the tv !

I never knew it was that bad. Sounds like you need to tear down the current government and rebuild it from the ground up :p

Well, Berlusconi owns like 80% of Italian media, sooo... But anyways, those corrupt politicians exist because people keep choosing them.

(BTW, how is all going around there? I read there was an earthquake)

meh you know 40% of italians doesnt vote for any of those politicians ,the other 60% are old people or dumb people and we have a electoral system law(legge porcellum aka pig law) that negates our right to vote for a specific politician of a specific party in italy you just vote the party and that's it.
we re trying so hard you know and its not easy to tear down a 67 years old regime!

Though I find serious doubts that Germany would ever even allow Italy to leave the EU, even if all Italians voted for it.

Haha.. ask General Mosh, I'm he would advocate a full-scale military 'intervention' into Italy, to, like, help you and stuff. ;P

But I'm interested, what problems are you having with American bases?

Just don't go to war with anybody, it went terrible for you guys last time.

But seriously, I hope the movement goes off well if not my advice is to get Ezio to help you.

Very true, I must wish you luck :p
Well......if the vast majority of Italians want it.....but no, I don't advocate a military intervention in a country where these things can and are being solved through democratic means. Perhaps political pressure, but not intervention :p

Unless there is fighting and revolution in the streets, in which case, once again I'd be one of the first to volunteer.

Aviano is pretty cool though. i was there once.

    Solve italys prolbems:

    1. draw a line exactly south of rome
    2. sell all land south of that line to who ever wants it
    3. ??????
    4. Profit!

In all seriousness though, if all of italy would be like the north, there would be verry little problems. I don't really know all the issues in depth but, everytime i visit my beloved southern neighbors and drive down south, the country gets progresively more "uncivilized". Not in the sence of people, they get cooler the more south you go. But in an economical way. While the north of italy is pretty much at the same level as central/northern European countries, the south is considerably less developed and faces similar structural economical problems like greece, portugal and spain.

Still i will happily visit you guys this summer again and be an annoying tourist :p

The north and south differences come from a long Italian history, but I'm sure Daddy knows more about it, and will be more eager to tell us (if you want, obviously)

i agree its not their fault, we acted bad towards the south since the first italian King (the Father of our nation) destroyed their homes and killed their people in the silent italian civil war thinking "meh the crops will grow better if we use their blood as a fertilizer" and now our republics are corrupted and we are not doing anything to industrialize the south,
one-hundred and fifty years as a country and some of us are still racist towards our own people at least our schools are fixing that.

I remember this movie, Benvenuti al sud I think would be the translation, where this dude, chief/manager/something of the Post Office in Rome, gets a promotion, but in Naples, and his family and friends were like "Oh noes, you are going to get killed".

Which is another point, in the south of Italy there are the REAL mobs, Cosa Nostra, Corona Unita, Ndrangheta, Camorra, etc.
