Well I am doing this for my end of the year project which pretty much details the history of the USSR? Here's the plot pretty much. Note: I am going to film this all.. no rip offs from movies. So im gonna have to find look alikes for Lenin and Gorbachev and stuff, its gonna be tough Act 1 1. Lenin Years - Revolution - Russian Civil War - New Economic Policy and death 2. Stalin Years - Rise to power and elimination of Trotsky and the Old Bolsheviks - First Five Year Plan - The Purges - WW2 - The aftermath and death Act 2 1. The Khrushchev Years - Rise to power and Destalinization - Sputnik and Gagarin - Khrushchev Thaw - Cuban Missile Crisis and his removal 2. The Brezhnev Years - Detente and the Prague Spring - The Age of Stagnation - Afghan War 3. Andropov and Chernenkov - Summary Act 3 1. Gorbachev Years - Rise to power - Perestroika and Glasnost - Foreign Relations - The end of the Warsaw Pact and the Berlin Wall - Yeltsin and the dissolution So this is how the plot will go, if any of you guys have any ideas that can be added or that could improve my plot and the movie, it will be greatly appreciated. So what do you guys think?
I would add the Holdomor to help portray Stalin's callous evil. Also, maybe an "aftermath" to show how Russia, and maybe other Soviet countries, are doing nowadays.
Well yea I am putting the aftermath of the collapse which would be now.. but since the movie has to be less tha an hour, by the my teachers and the high school ones who are marking it, idk if i can put everything in
just go to red square for tsar, lenin, stalin look alikes, only 100 rubles Anyways would the domino effect (or theory) be important?, like in East Europe and Southeast Asia.
Hmm I never thought of that.. but then again I think that was more prevalent with the Americans.. Idk what the soviets thought of it. And i dont have enough money to fly to Moscow and hire them... It would be awesome though.
No, it would be like this: Lenin impersonator: I have made it to Canada!!! *Runs off to freedom from Putin*
haha.. then watch Putin just appear out of nowhere looking at him with his doom stare, and probably without his shirt on....
I would say that you might want to talk about the last Tsar of Russia and the problems that Russia was facing at the start of the 20th century to just give some back story.
Hmm.. I should.. Should I put it as a narration or as dialogue? because I was planning to put it on my Lenin homecoming speech or something like that. A Putin Impersonator... Where can i find one of those?
Perhaps you could have a bit of a black screen exposition where you explain the horrors the average Russian is going through and then the first scene of the movie is Lenin delivering his railroad speech or whatever it's called.
I would say make it a narration and maybe show some real footage like for example show Russian Troops marching off to war in 1914.
Hmm I should.. I was planning to do that through the speech but the black screen ideas and the troops marching off to war by vassilli is definitely better..
