I wont go into detail but this 2 points equals a ban even if we're being as lenient as possible. However in this case he violated this rule about as severely as you can. He did it to break the rules on purpose and posted a ton of it. He claimed to have always wanted to do it and we have to consider that if he decides to leave again, assuming he isn't perma banned, that he might pull something as bad. Since his way of leaving was to get himself banned this way and he saw nothing wrong with it. Porn is a serious issue and a new user who posted just as much porn as Shaw was permanently banned. It can get our site in serious trouble and this site can be viewed by anyone, even kids. We judge it based on severity. It can be 2 points, or it can get your account banned until the site stops existing. I can warn Shaw for 2 points regardless of context. However things very much are judged according to how severe they are when it comes to this and it wont matter one bit if Stalin decides to ban him forever. Sometimes things simply warrant a ban.
What I mean by judged by severity, here's an example. Person A posts a topless woman and it is deemed to not be art, simply pornography. That would be 2 points. Person S posts a woman fisting/women masturbating, women performing oral sex on both men and women and women having full blown sex. That is a possible permanent ban.
You have mod powers, but not mod duties. You given the powers so you could access the ACP and add new members to the branches.
God dammit, The one member I have something in common with (although it's as trivial as smoking weed) gets his account banned in the stupidest way possible.
He doesn't like the fact that you are undermining his authority. I frankly am completely fine with you having mod powers.
So does this mean you use your moderating powers as well as being NKVD head? Not that I oppose it, I think you'd make a competent mod.
Yes, do to a recent reorganization of the clan administration, I now have full moderation powers on the forum, and am also now considered a member of the staff.
That'll explain how you've commented on locked threads before (at least I think so), although I always though your powers were limited.
I'm not "so opposed" to you moderating the forums. You're just not a mod, and you shouldn't act like you are. You are considered part of the staff for being the Clan Leader. You don't have a say on forum policies.
I am a mod, the only difference between you and I is that you have more access to the ACP. This was Stalin's idea to give me full mod powers.
I've spoken to Stalin, and he told me that he'd give you the powers. That doesn't make you a moderator. I can spell it out for you, if you want?
