1 Year Anniversary of BO Praising Solyndra

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of BO (Barack Obama) praising Solyndra as a true model of economic growth. How did that work out for yah?

After giving Solyndra over $500 million in a loan guarantee the company quickly goes bankrupt two years later. This has created a lot of controversy.

You also fail to point out that Obama saved the ENTIRE auto industry via bailout. Why is there no rememberance of that?

On its anniversary you can throw the party. I agree, 2 years is actually not that far. That was 2 years of the company losing business because the American people were not interested in it. Thus Obama made a lousy investment.

1) All Presidents have made lousy investments
2) What about all the good investments he made?
3) He only gave them 500 million. Compared to what we give something useless like NASA, that is hardly anything.

The good investments are just good, we just need to make sure presidents stop making lousy ones. If I may ask, why do you think NASA is useless?

Of course all presidents should make good investments, but we shouldn't hold them to the standard of always making a good investment. They are human after all, with the hardest job in the world.
I think NASA is a currently lousy investment because we give it a few billion a year, not a lot of money. But that money is wasted by NASA on research. Nothing ever happens. We already know what is on Mars, and we already have scouted all the planets in are solar system. But NASA keeps doing it over and over and over and over and over and...well you get the point. When are we going to Mars? When will something inportant actually happen? Private companies are the best alternative to wasting money on NASA.

Good point, I think if anything NASA should work on much more grander projects. Didn't we get rid of our shuttle programs?
