Really? He offered to stand down. That's funny, because if he had, I'm pretty sure I would have heard about it. And if the revolution is getting out of hand, then all the more reason for someone to put a stop to it. Diplomacy hasn't got us anywhere thus far. Please show me where someone other than the government says that it was the Rebels who commited the massacre.

Wow. That really proves your point. I should just give up now. May I mention that was really offensive? Please don't post crap like that.

I, and a very large part of the world, find American flags to be extremely offensive. Please change your avatar.

Wow, because that really compares to what you just posted. Now, back on topic, can you please answer my question?

The flag in your avatar is responsible for the murders of between 140-200 million people. Please change it.

Classic Ler here. When your arguement fails, just resort to bashing America. Now, back on topic, will you answer my question?

Do you have any evidence that Assad did commit the murders, from sources that do not support, or rather are not extremely biased toward the rebels?

Do you have any sources that show it was the Rebels, other then the Syrian Government? Which, if you do, I will be perfectly happy to bow to your superior knowledge of the situation. Until then, I'm going to have to back up the Rebels. The Syrian government do not have the best record in terms of human rights violations.

Despite the fact that the rebels appear to be made up, mostly of Radical/Extremnist Islamic organizations, such as Al Qaeda, or other terrorist groups, who have a strong history of doing this kind of shit? Right now, the only media sources that are directly stating that the massacre was committed by Assad, are nations which directly support the rebels. To the rest of the world, it is just a massacre. Just because the American media says something, doesn't make it true bro.

And what sources are suggesting that it was commited by the Rebels? We know what to expect from the Syrian Government. They are a tyranical, heavy-handed regieme. But what of the Rebels? And even if it is the Rebels who are doing some of the massacres, it still tells me that we need to do some sort of intervention, as long as it's short of having boots on the ground.

This is one of the many reasons the world hates your country. You are not the world's police. Nobody is asking you to intervene. The whole world isn't out to get you. Stop invading other countries.

Again, I'm not saying we invade. That's why I said that as long as there are no boots on the ground. I just think that we (and by we, I mean not just the U.S.) should be doing more to help then just sitting and watching, and giving Assad a little slap on the wrist. Now, I know that we are sending supplies in, but that's not seeming to help very much right now.

He never mentioned the US invading (which a pretty shitty thing, I agree), but for the world to do something, like Libya.
You should really both list your sources (StephenColbert and Ler). I think that this whole thing will be easily resolved because of it.

I'm just saying that thus far, Ler has talked about the Rebels doing these massacres, and I'm asking that he give me sources that say that the Rebels did it, other then the Syrian Government. I don't trust the Syrian Government, for some strange reason.

Ler, showing yet again that he's nothing more than a twisted little worm, different from Che only by virtue of his slimy, deceptive nature.

How on Earth did you turn UN intervention into America being the world's police and invading other countries. Btw that 9/11 video was extremely offensive. Even more so because you purposely posted it with the intention of offending people. It was a slap in the face to all those who died on 9/11. Fuck you.

The levels of irony, and hypocrisy in this thread are almost too high to bear.

This from the slimiest, most dishonest, and genuinely most terrible and worthless human being on these forums. That actually kind of hurt, coming from you.

So much 'American logic' in this thread.

    Ler, a question.
Are you actually going to provide evidence that the rebels are what you say they are?
Can you provide even one, incredibly bias-towards-your-argument source for your argument?

Hmm... think that was two, but I'll just count them as one.
