Canada's Psycho Killer

Hmm, I saw a little thing about this on CNN's site, but didn't really get into it. To me this is odd just because... well... you don't hear about this thing in Canada. We in the states(or me at least) always here how they don't lock their doors & are as nice as can be. Naturally this makes this story all the more weird.

Now as for the death penalty or not... I think my position is clear. Someone who does such evil crimes deserves the ultimate punishment & while that means different things to different people I, & many more, believe it is taking the man's life in retribution.

Execute that motherfucker.

I've been following this since the beginning because I was around when he posted all three cat killing videos and the name made me recall who he was rather quickly. I watched the death video of him "playing" with the dismembered body and I have to say that it wasn't as exciting as I'd been led to believe. I find creepier the fact that he continuously edits Wikipedia, ED and other articles about himself and a female Canadian killer to make himself more.. "memorable."

I'm not surprised he moved from cats to humans in the span of a couple of years. I'm sure this isn't his first time, either. However, the video seemed kind of fake. The bindings were too loose, rigor appeared to have set in too fast. It was far too easy to saw through the femur.

I can't take him seriously with those eyebrows anyway. I really thought when they found him he'd be dressed as a woman. Anyway, way to go Canada. We were tired of dominating the Cannibal sector of the international news.

You know why you haven't heard of it when it's getting international press? You haven't because I'm surprised Americans know anything about other countries. When I was down there I did not here one thing about the rest of the world besides Iraq. Your press literally does not touch non american disputes, it's like an isolation chamber down there.

On topic though, I don't care what they do as long as he doesn't hurt anyone else and costs me minimal amount of money. Getting all butthurt and demanding his death is a little immature, no?

Well its more due to the fact I just haven't been paying attention for about a week(vacation). The story just popped up on TYT, & its on CNN more now. However you are still right we tend to have tunnel vision when it comes to things in other nations.

One thing I'd like to know about this guy is why is he so fucked up? What lead him to do these things.

If one can rape a corpse, cut it up, and mail them to people. Yeah, rehabilitation is useless on that guy.

We don't intend that he become a productive member of society. The question really should be is it more prudent to kill him cheaply, kill him expensively, or lock him up . Moral/ethical issues with disposing with societies trash are tedious things to discuss.

I'm more in favor of solitary confinement for life.

Nah that's what the Norwegian prisons are like. Canadian prisons are pretty much the same as American ones, according to the internet that is.

This case reminds me about the Issei Sagawa case (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issei_Sagawa).

This case probably shocked Canadians more than us Americans. We've seen these kinds of killings before, so it is possible we are somewhat numbed to it.

The only thing worse than our economy is our attention span.

I really don't get why he went to Germany, though. I mean.. if you're going to go to Europe while Interpol is looking for you, at least go to the far eastern part.. shit, he might have fit in well there.
