I don't see how that would even be a choice to people. It's just common sense. This poll seems redundant.

What do you mean? Are you implying that human testing should be permissible if the condition or product is unique to a human-only disease or condition? I completely agree. I believe most terminally ill people should be given the opportunity to be tested on as long as it's related to the disease they are inflicted with. Or maybe prisoners could work out some type of reduced sentencing or something. I know these things occur already but maybe it would be helpful if it were to be made standard procedure instead of rare, isolated events. If an animal is available and it is effective to test on it, it should always take precedence. But when it comes to the elderly or ill, I think it is the humane thing for them to do to allow themselves to become the subjects who are tested on.

Ya if it is a disease that only effects humans than I believe volunteers should be accepted. Everything you said is what I wanted to say. :)

Well, I'm glad I could help ya out there. Great minds.

I'm used to being on and moderating active forums and I have enjoyed a lot of conversations on here already. If I added my messages from PM's to that number I'm sure it'd be probably double or more. Is it a lot by your guys' standards? I feel weird now.

Do I support Animal Testing? Like do I approve of misusing animals in pursuit of some goal? Only in political ads.

It's allot but as long as you don't post spam it's fine. I remember Romulus used to do that.

Aw, does that offend your delicate sensibilities? They are animals. If they were inherently worth what humans are we wouldn't eat them, we'd date them.

I'd date a sloth. Sloths are the best animals ever.

Im all for animal testing. But animals do have emotions.

I forget if this had anything to do with @RonaldRaygun 's point of view, but his presence would makes this thread more epic.

I'd like to see some sources attesting to that. If they do, however minute, they still are not on the same level as humans. Ergo, they don't matter as much as we do. All about the hierarchy, baby.

That is an opinion piece. That's about as legitimate as using Wikipedia.

Read it further. It actually states studies and backs up its claims. And Wikipedia is not an illegitimate source at all.
