The Sydney Sleeper has a large damage nerf, anything that isn't a support class will not die in a single shot, everyone knows that there's a "piss sniper" around because someone's suddenly covered in jarate. The sandman has this weird tendency to have scouts get overconfident, run up to the heavy they just stunned, and get mowed down because the stun just wore off, with the loss of health the weapon causes really not helping them out. The sandvich was nerfed, I can no longer drop it and get half my health back, I need to stay immobile for about three seconds while there is likely an enemy chasing me (I did just take a lot of damage), it is very noisy, if it's used in the wrong spot, a sniper or spy will kill you. The Natascha is entirely useless unless the targets within melee distance (making it only really usefull against pyros or demoknights), and is the weakest of all the miniguns. The Brass Beast is incredibly slow, just duck around the nearest corner and he'll have to unspin the minigun, chase you around the corner, and get his ass kicked because he was to wait a second or two to actually shoot, using it anyplace that isn't the flag or a capture point you're defending usually results in death due to the slowed down spin up and slowed down movement speed.
Using "this allows teams to coordinate to gun down a slowed down player" is not a reason. The game is called Team Fortress 2, teamwork is required to win. Though I do understand why a lot of them were banned, a lot of them I am confused as to why. Take the Righteous Bison, It does 20-12 damage, and 36-60 damage critted. The shotgun at point blank range does more damage, only at long distances does the Bison become viable. The shotgun fires six shots before it needs to be reloaded, and the Bison shoots four. The shotgun shoots faster than the Bison. The only thing the bison can do better is reloading faster, never running out of bullets, and shooting up conga lines. Yet it is banned, care to enlighten us as to why?

Significantly better wording than I could have managed. + Piss Sniper < Regular Sniper (any decent sniper knows this is true 85% of the time)

You know what it also does better? Screw over medics and make it impossible to take cover behind their pocket.

Look, all things are banned for a reason and if you disagree, go argue with the UGC guys, or even better go argue with the ETF2L guys who have banned unlocks altogether. Or read this guy's post, he's merely speculating but most of it makes sense.

TBH ETF2L is more agreeable because it doesn't seem like 1 class is getting fucked over more than the others.

That particular strategy is defeated by the damage dealing half of the medic combo having brain cells and attacking the enemy standing right in front of them (attacking at close range), by seeing the brightly colored laser and moving out of the way (long range), or by hiding around a corner so they can't be hit by that gun. Alternatively, you can just pull out your rocket launcher, blow up the pocket, run out of ammo killing the medic, and finish him with the Bison in a kill you wouldn't be able to get with the shotgun because he booked it the second he saw you.

Besides that, why can't I use my weapons that are considered "too complex" or "too slowing" or "too unorthodox". If the weapon being unexpected is a problem, then just learn to counter it, it's simple practice. I don't see how a gun being too complex or slowing down a steamroll is a problem. I enjoy long rounds with really dug in defenses, it makes me feel like we had a real match of skill rather than just a rushing competition. But then again, that's just me.

To make my position perfectly clear, I think the current weapon banlist is ridiculous. However, I think a banlist is a good idea, but that we should develop our own, the one that we can agree on.

I'll still follow you around like a lost puppy Esac. Just get us a better server and organize things more often.

Stop thinking this is a pub server and rethink everything you said in the context of a 6v6.

I never happen to be online for anything, but I can still play TF2.

Also, you should probably just ban all non-cosmetic unlocks. Keep it simple. And you've basically done that anyway.
