Do you think that humans should be perfected? In terms of intelligence, strength, reactions.. etc.
Should we enable scanning for embryos so we can "kill" embryos which have developed disabilities via mutagen? I just want to know what you people think.

*I am not a Nazi, I am also not into the Aryan thing: I just want to know how you feel about genetic engineering and ridding humanity of disabilities or any other handicaps*

I always say that perfection itself is an imperfection. A perfect human would have no true friends.

Perfection as in intelligence, strength, I guess you know what I mean. I'm not striving for
a dominant race to be used as defaults for this, eg. Every embryo engineering to have Caucasian characteristics.

    You mean become robots?
In terms of strength, bio-material is outdone by things like metals.
In terms of intelligence... well, the sentience of a human combined with the processing power of a machine...

Under the definition that intelligence is the ability to aquire and apply knowledge and skills, humans are the most intelligent species that we know of. So...

First we need to get rid of the religous threat to humanity.

I don't mean that as in becoming robots, I mean that as in perfecting biological engineering: as in making our platelets, for instance, 1000% more efficient, which consequently results in faster healing.

We will become Cybermen and that is final.

Indeed, I wonder how the Evangelicals - who are a big chunk of the United States population - would respond if a new law was passed allowing abortion, genetic engineering, usage of embryos for research and all that innovative stuff which is just sought after for people like us. =D

So, I'm not talking about implementing nanotechnology to make our processes run faster, just increasing the efficiency of our organic systems, which are faster than any current electric system, at-least to my knowledge.

We must be upgraded. Those who are not compatible will be exterminated.

I'm quite a fan of genetic engineering, and when it's possible, I demand an arm to be attached to my forehead.

Why? Why not like, make the limbs you already have really kick ass?. Why not just Adam Jension your shit and get kick ass sunglass built into your head. You could give Neo a run for his money in the cool shades department then.
