Well, that certainly was a disaster. Oh well, there'll be another tournament in two years or so.

Are you going to sack your manager?
And I must say, you're taking your humiliating defeat rather well.

He apparently still has a contract until 2016, but I don't think he's the kind of guy that stubbornly stays in the position. I don't think he'll be sacked, but I think he'll quit himself and go to a small English team or something.

Can't say I'm a very patriotic person, and I always prefer club football over international matches. I'm also quite realistic, and this failure was an inevitability, although I didn't expect it to happen that soon. Most of the players had a terrible season, and those who didn't either couldn't make a difference or never seem to reach the level they reach at their own teams.

Robin van Persie had an excellent season at Arsenal. Although the Premier League is a very long season, sometimes players get pretty exausted by the end.
Do you Dutch have many good young players coming up, or do you think they might struggle for a while if the current players don't improve?

I personally hate the "Oh, they're so tired argument", but yes, he has had an amazing season, and so has Huntelaar, but somehow they've managed to make a grand total of two goals while having the top scorers of the Bundesliga and Premier League in their team.

At least in the keeper department, we're fine for the coming few years, with Stekelenburg, Vorm and Krul. The defence is always a weak point, although Willems (who is the youngest player to have ever played on the EC, if I'm not mistaken. He started this season at Sparta, a Dutch second division team) didn't play that bad this tournament, for someone with his age and experience.
On the bench, there were Strootman, De Jong and Narsingh, who are talented, although I doubt we'll see someone with the amazing talent of Sneijder or Van Persie for the coming two tournaments. Normally, people would add Robben in that list, but I find him to be one of the most overrated players right now.

Bah, Croatia are out. Did you see Arbeloa pull that Croatian down? He nearly ripped his shirt off. Yet no penalty. Spain's goal... Offside if you ask me. Not in the first instance, but Navas profits from his offside afterwards.

Robben is very one dimensional in his game. He is fast like a mad man, then cuts to the inside and shoots. He got that move figured out, but not much else.

Yep, and while he deserves credit for the few times it went right, after a while defenders just knew what was coming. I was also incredibly annoyed after he and many others got mad because the Bayern fans booed him off the field. Seriously? The guy just fucked up the entire season for the team single handedly (much like he did with the WC final), and not only do they arrange a match shortly after between his club and his country, they also expect all the fans to happily cheer on the man that ruined their season?

France can have the second place. It would be great to see them and Spain killing each other off. On the other hand it would suck to see England and Italy kill each other off.

Yes, good luck to you aswell.

And why would you have preferred France? You do realise we're not a very good team, don't you?

Wow, this match was beautiful and dramatic at the same time ,England played well ,but in the end we won.
Now we will fight Germany ,we have a big old rivalry with them , everytime we face them the match becomes legendary ,like back in 1970(semifinals) when Italy vs Germany became the match of the century.
I wish you good luck guys (@greatmustachio).
    P.S
I hope you ll not be racist toward us like last time (2006).

So, nothing's really changed, Germany will still win the final from Spain, I guess.
