Recovery doesn't mean that the economy is all fixed, it means it's fixing itself. FDR sabotaged recovery, but that doesn't mean that he stopped it.

He helped along recovery though.

Prove it. Because there are many that acknowledge Roosevelt put the economy back on track with the New Deal.

FDR saved the economy through massive government spending right? Hoover screwed the economy because he was a "do-nothing" president who let laissez-faire capitalism ruin everything right? Wrong. Hoover used public works and government programs to make jobs and get companies to give workers better wages. You can see that by the end of his presidency, the economy was in shambles. Then FDR comes along promising to do the exact opposite of Hoover, the same thing every president had done before the Great Depression, and then turns around and does exactly what Hoover did, but on steroids. Hoover screwed the economy, and then FDR screwed it even more by continuing to do the same thing as Hoover.

I'm not even touching this one. Yeah guys , you know that guy that some call the best president of all times and only MODERN DAY conservatives don't like? Yah, he was the worst president of all time.... /sarcasm

I am, although there are plenty of his policies that I disagree with. Libertarianism is liberalism.

Because no one can win as an independent and he does have some convservative policies, like the ones I disagree with.

So we have came to the conclusion that modern day republicans and libertarians are the only ones that think he was a bad president.

Republican president eisenhower said he was one of the greatest presidents in history.

I think he was overrated. Not awful, but overrated.

He cut many social security projects, and urban projects and put more responsibility to the state government when it came to social security.

I think he was a good president. A little overrated, but still pretty good.
