Like, your trade economy would be in tatters, since you didn't pick a side, both sides navies would be attacking your trade vessels. I'd think you might be doing WORSE then us, actually. I mean, you dedicated a HUGE amount of your economy to space, and, again, your trade would be ruined. Remember what happened to the Lusitania? Think that, just every nation on the world is hunting your ships, because they might be supplying the enemy with trade.

I never got any notifocations saying i was attacked, 40% of my economy is still sustainable, most of my Kony comes from internal trade, tariffs, and taxes.

Egypt begins it's own space project, and since the technology is already made, Egypt begins to build there own Gaia system. A project as huge as the LAC's, the blueprints got out very fast. Egypt begins building it in a deep underground bunker, though this is known to the world at large fairly well, though not where.

They don't put much money into it, so it moves at a slow pace, researchers say it might be finished within a year.

Internal trade? Again, your imports would be zilch. Nato would be hunting your ships if they were going towards Warsaw countries, and vice versa. I'm not saying we'd have to specifically do it to you, this would just be what war comes along with.

EDIT: Come on, Someone back me up here.

Rom India needs to increase relations with you, mostly via trade and whatever else comes to mind.

People from all over the world have grown sick and weary within the last week. Reporting symptoms of Fever, Rash, ache's, and nausea. Higher levels show Hypersensitivity. Even higher levels show Dementia, and heart failure. 1,000,000 have already died. Scientist across the globe say it is evolved Anthrax meant to spread from person to person. It is believed to be caused by the continuous use of Anthrax WMD across the globe.

The disease started in London, and Tokyo from there Japan spread it to China and Korea, East Siberia has been hit. Followed by it moving to Alaska. From London it moved to the LAC, and Brazil. The disease was untrackable after that as every nation is now faced with a plague.

It is spread every way possible there is no escaping it. The only thing stopping it is a vaccine. @Lighthouse @Romulus211 @DUTCHSOCIALIST!!!! @Epiccheesegrater @Anwrise888 @Viking Socrates

That's the point I'm making. You can make a case for this kind of technology if we were doing a modern RP but this is the 60s, man. Plus, you aren't exactly starting off with a good economy, what with the invasion of 90% of your land.

Egypt immediately closes all borders, and institutes body burning and closing of all ports. The military shrinks back towards Egypt, all with gas masks and such. Anyone with symptoms of the sickness are kept in another room. Most of the time there just shot.

With Egypt shrinking back towards it's major cities, farms spring up everywhere, pretty much on all roofs and balconies. People realize the vaccine will take time, and so a good portion of the economy is dedicated to that, and a small fund is dedicated towards that same GAIA space station. Though most of the male population becomes a soldier to defend against people trying to get in.

Spain reacts to this new disease by immediately closing the border to civilian crossing and setting up a new government agency that is tasked with finding anyone with the plague, and quarantining them. The agency also goes into Portugal to protect that country from disease as well. The agency has been dubbed "The Inquisitors"
