Dont worry guys, if Americans wish to be in denial about their country being a bit... Amoral, and espescially in denial about the fact that most of them are really poor compared to our standards. Wich i think can be (atleast partly) be blamed on their lack of socialism (shitty education and healthcare plus lobbying by corporations help keep the poor poor). So yeah, americans defending their countries ideals, is a bit of a sad joke to me. Ans sadly most Americans arejust retarded mind-washed people with Kali's perspective, making them worse than Kali.
Do we have gettho's or projects? Well i suppose England's got the north, but that is due to Thatcher, who was bassically alligned with American thoughts
You're right, of course. And yes we do 'have the north', if you want to put it that way, but I doubt some members here would like you for saying it, although they might agree it was down to Thatcher. And by the way, what do you mean by the word 'project'? I take it in this instance it means something other than the word usually does. EDIT: Nvm, I googled it
Its not. We are a much bigger country than any country in Europe barring maybe Russia or Germany (not an expert). Bigger population wise, by the way. Also, very few areas in our country are ghettos, they appear in large cities, much like the slums in London. There is great contrast in this country though. I just moved from New Jersey to Virginia. In New Jersey, stuff seems so crowded and there isn't much space between towns and stuff like that. However, in Virginia stuff just seems so spread out in my standards and its a lot nicer. No run down graffitied houses or warehouses.
Russia is bigger than the US geographically, but much smaller population. Germnay is tiny compared to America, in both size and population. And I've always thought the bigger a country gets the more difficult it is to keep everything in order. The only thing really negative about the US to live in is the lack of public healthcare. That's the thing I'd certainly miss most. And such variety appears everywhere, certainly as much in the UK as the US, just visit a Cotswold village and then somewhere up north in a run down city.
Doesn't Germany have a big population? I'm not an expert but I thought they have like 200 million people. But I just looked it up....and I feel stupid... Well, I wouldn't know because my father is in the US military, and this ensures that I get free healthcare anyways paid for by the military. So yeah, I'm good. However, I don't think the majority of Americans miss it as such because they've never really experienced it. I don't know why, it just struck me. And I like Virginia so much more than New Jersey, I like that sense of space and prosperity. That's why I liked California as well.
Stereotypical ignorant American Well yes, it is often better. Otherwise people wouldn't bother earning money.
Perhaps its just because I live within 10 miles of Dulles International Airport and therefore very close to Washington D.C.
To be honest i do hate being all generalising and such, but im not saying it's their fault, i mean there were jobs, good jobs imo, but then thatcher killed everything, Facts remain facts, Europe is a better place to live. Whilst America has all the capabilities of being a better place to live, the ruling factions decided that their personal welbeing is more important than the average wellbeing of the country leading to a warped distribution of wealth (i don't know the facts but i would want to see a lorentzcurve of America, that would probably make me rofl). America would be richer if socialist on average, but the richest would be slightly poorer. They don't like this, therefore they use evry means they can to keep the status quo
Stop stereotyping Americans unless you've been in America. I wish the majority of Americans were as intelligent as Kali because well, say what you want about him but you can't deny that he is an intelligent person. Also the funny thing is Europe is in a more precarious situation fibabcialky and have done a worse job of managing the crisis overall, than the is. Personally, and I have nothing against Europe, I wouldn't trade living in America for living in even the best place in Europe.
Then I am sure a lot of you have driven through South Central L.A., well it isn't as bad as the riot days and gangster rap according to people.
When I said "it's la" I wasn't correcting his spelling. I was just saying that that's expected for Los Angeles... And I didnt stereotype Europeans. I don't think Kali should be either but I'm not Kali.
That's completely ridiculous. Society needs workers to function, but it doesn't "need" venture capitalists, or otherwise. Envious? We spite the wealthy, not envy them. You have your emotions mixed up, I'm not surprised though because you have no feelings. The fuck are you talking about? Anyone who even slightly takes his views from Chives is barely worth listening too. I respond to this post only so others are aware of how completely silly what you're about to say is. Actually a global union would be a huge step forward for humanity. Pretty much no one denies that. You have a natural obligation to help your fellow man. I know that feel. I hate it when the hungry get fed, and the sick get healed. Imagine how terrible it would be if the ignorant are made intelligent? Personally I think we should all forget this "compassion" and "empathy" nonsense and go back to worshiping Ronald Regan. A Socialist society provides what everyone needs, not what everyone wants. Ya, cool shit like food for the 7 billion people who would all very much like to not starve. Capitalism was nice for a while, but it's time for people to stop dying of thirst so Bill Gates can buy a fourth mansion. Actually LA is Louisiana. It was there first.
I really wish I was on a computer so I could rip apart karas post but I'll just say this: your own faction is hurting from your support of them.
