If it were that easy for you just to change your mind, I'd say you never were a communist in the first place. I acknowledge that you may have liked the idea of it all, but for our sake, please don't say that you used to be a communist - You weren't.

Or maybe he was and after a long time of thinking very clearly and becoming confused about it he decided he in fact does not support communism? Maybe it wasn't that easy for him to change his mind.

Has you have heard in the news, Turkey is putting troops on the border with Syria. This is not good.

Well they probably don't want the chaos to spread over the border, which is completely understandable.
There's also the fact that Syria shot down one of Turkey's jets...

They are sheltering tons of Syrian refugees, allowing Syrian rebels groups refuge in their territories, and Assad is accusing them of arming the rebels. That said, I think this is just a precaution, and haven't there been troops there all along?

They have moved convoys of tanks and men towards the border.
    But yes, just a precaution

So, if NATO does march into Syria, do you guys think that Iran may intervene? From what I understand, the two countries are pretty close, and they are both in a kind-of similar predicament, minus the civil war for Iran.

@crocve There are rumors flying around the commie-circles that the Turkish jet being shot down may have been a false flag attack. Thoughts?

Certainly not. It would be suicide for Iran to intervene. They'll kick and scream and make a big fuss about western imperialism and what-not, but they won't dare do anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if Iran intervenes, though it might not be an outright military invasion.
