Of course it doesn't, not by itself. You also need public works projects and the like. In my opinion, instead of chasing tumbleweeds we should have built a ton of highways and stuff. In my opinion, there should be a government program that puts the unemployed to work building new infrastructure. Now THAT would benefit everyone.
But those are just the essentials. Anyone that sells luxury items would go out of business real quick.

Ok, before we go into the pointlessness of public works, again, let me ask you this. How does inflating the currency, and thus driving up prices and making it harder for people to purchase things, help the economy?

If there isn't enough demand for those luxury items, then yeah, they'll go out of business. Then that labor can go into sectors of the economy that need more workers. Unfortunately, the government often doesn't let that happen.

It is a necessary evil to ensure that the most important markets stay afloat and help get the economy back on track after which the inflation should stabilize.
No, the labor that was doing that will all get unemployed and stay unemployed. The economy has just gotten exponentially worse and now the companies that were thinking of expanding are too scared to and all the unemployed people are going to stay unemployed. All of a sudden we have an extremely nightmarish depression and of course the country this happens in quickly falls apart under social problems and economic failure.

Except none of that is true and you didn't answer my question. Inflation doesn't help the economy at all. It devalues the dollar on the international market, raises prices, and hurts everyone, poor people the most.

If by "scared" you mean "can't because they can't afford the high wages the government forces on them" then yes, I agree.

Once again we go around in circles....
No, I mean they just saw a massive sector of the economy collapse and they're afraid to expand because of what they just saw.

Hey now. It's hard to argue when I have to repeat the same things over and over again because my opponent is so entrenched in his keynesian economics that he can't see the truth even though I've spelled it out to him probably dozens of times at least.
