Well some would have large numbers and some would have smaller numbers, I hope they about even out. Its not possible to make it TOO realistic. But I always listen to suggestions so do you have a better system in mind?
Hrm, true, it probably ends up evening up, although maybe 10,000 still is a bit much. In that time, I don't think there were many larger towns, so I think a number like 2,500-5,000 is a bit more reasonable, with maybe 10,000-12,000 for historical city locations.
Barcelona, home of the Catalan people, 8k people live here we are a defensive people and we are a Republic, we focus in navy and archery.
You sure you only want 8000? Consider the 90,000 Sly has and the lesser but still large numbers me and epic have. Well, yes. I'll go with that. If someone takes a historic city location they'll recieve 10,000, anything besides that will be 5,000.
Why is the pop ginna always expand? It should depend on the situation you are in? Ie long drawn out war in own territory equals decline in pop due to raiding and. Men joining army. Also someone must make Roma and carthago.
Redraw: Barcelona Grand city of the catalan people, our city numbers 30,000 people We have always built boats, our people have our sustenence in the Seas and forests, archery is our skill, our archers love too sail and our warships are feared, however we are not warlike, we only wish to protect our land, homes, and people. Our government form matches that of a republic, senators vote on behalf of the people and consuls are chosen among them. Our fletchers and bowyers are legendary, and are carpenters are the finest in Iberia. We will build a civilization to stand the test of time.
Paris has the population of 60,000 and starts construction on a waterslide that shall reach Rome. 20,000 people are put to work on this project.
You don't fucking own Paris. The person who created it is Paris....Also please be serious. If you are not then leave.
Can I have Poznan Poland? Also you should set this up alot like the MUN game with all the governments and stuff, I liked that.
Byblos has a population of 70,000, and mostly survives off of fishing, farming in the fertile lands, and eventually, trading. We focus on our navy a lot, as well as our warrior class.
* Poznan has a population of 50,000 (If that is O.k) * Populated by the Venedae people (Poles) * We speak Polish naturally (I think it was around at this time or it might not have split from the Slavic language) * We are surrounded to the south by the Capi who we have mild relations with * To the north are the Baltic people who we maintain very strong relations with infact are noble families are usually married and there are talks of unification * To the west are the Germanic people who we have horrible relations with, they usually invade and pillage are lands. One day they will be defeated in glorious battle. The city is an important area of trade and agriculture for the Polish people It's government is based off elected monarchy It's religion is mostly pagan with many Jewish citizens
What? Usually I assume that when you play as a nation you control the nation. Also you want realism? I shall turn it into those water bridges and it shall DOUBLE as a waterslide
This takes place in 450 BC and you only own a city and some surrounding land to start. No giant waterslides. Not to mention I own Paris.... The population will change with your war. You will recruit an army from your current population. If people die in that army then they are dead. Permanently. People don't stop giving birth just cause a war is on. But the manpower will go down because all your men are fighting. As I said, I'll do the math and recording. All I'll need from you guys is casualty reports. What do you mean? What was that like?
