This is somewhat true. Of course some things are obviously evil, pedophilia, necrophilia, hitler, etc. However, you are right people label things what they find new or strange. Same goes for subjects people never studied, and are told about.

Being bad, or evil, is subjective to your morales. Joseph Kony could easily justify his use of boy soldiers just as easily as Jimmy Carr could justify his tax avoidance.

On a slightly related note, there has been something I have been thinking about recently, reguarding military/political figures. Two figures in particular, in fact, and these figures are Che Guevara and Osama bin Laden. What has been bothering me is why these two people appear to be viewed in two entirely different lights, yet the reasons they fought are not entirely different. The reasons being, of course, ideological. They both had an incredible amount of hate for America, and capitalism/imperialism. So, I ask myself, what is it that defines one person as a hero, defying capitalism, whilst the other as a tyrant, killing civilians?

There will probably be some anti-American hipster faggots wearing bin laden shirts in the future.

Because one fought with his soldiers in the frontlines and appealed to the hard pressed masses while the other sent people strapped with bombs into crowded civilian areas in the name of a religious war while he sat in a Pakistani mansion.

Eh, lets make this simple, is slaming a door in someones face evil? no. Is stealing becasue your homeless and dont have any food or money evil? no, but they are bad. evil would be like after slaming the door in the persons face you then chatch their fingers in the door and break them, or stealing just becasue they have somthing you want, not somthing you need.

I don't think there's anything bad about being evil, being evil can have a lot of benefits.

You're a bad guy, but not a bad guy.

evil people are always brought down and destroyed in the end, id say thats a huge dissadvantage, no matter what kind, a criminal is brought down by law, a terrorist by an army, or a dictator by the people. Evil never pays off, or when it does its short lived.

Both sides committed atrocities, which I'm guessing you are using as the bases for evil.

Well I have been disappointed by the recent transition of power, especially concerning militias in the street, not to mention in the upcoming elections it is likely a "Islamic" party will come to power.
