Tyre sends its' condolences, and we will reimburse you for this loss. If the reimbursement for half of our payment from the trade is enough, then we insist you keep that as compensation. We also regret we cannot spare many war galleys to escort duty, as most are either defending the coasts of our land, or in dock with the Athenian navy.
The profits from the dye more than covers the damage from the ships, Dalmatia simply wanted to keep the two transactions seperate in the interests of transparancy. We also understand Tyre might find ships for defending trade routes difficult. Dalmatia has 10 warships availible for protecting trade routes, and we hope that will be enough.
@Shisno Dalmatia is concerned the fleet they sent to Brittania two years ago has still not returned. We are sorely missing those warships.
OOC: Yeah... where are you on the map? @General Mosh Red are the ones that I wasn't given yesterday; green are for today. The Imperium of Man begins construction on 40 more Penance-class warships. Walls are placed under construction for all cities.
I know, I apologize for that. Every-time I tried to respond there was a new message by him forcing me to respond again. I will fix my posts. As you can see he has way more posts then me. I would love glorious battle with you. Your threats can only be considered cute now that it is just you and Athens. That and between me Carthage Rome and Sardinia we have over 87,000 (Spread out) troops in Greece in comparison to 57,000 of your allies forces. Want proof skyicewolf is gone and your only ally left is Athens? I am very interested in hearing how your allies plan on beating Rome(debatable) Carthage, Sparta, and Sardinia. Goddammit what am I suppose to do with the shit?!?!?! Olive oil is useless to me.
Can a moderator omit all of pages 80 and 79? It is pointless to this thread just delete it. I will delete this once that is done. @Surfusa
Carthaeg hires a Sudanese bounty hunter to find this man. He has tracked both man and beast for many years across Africa and Asia. He should be able to find this man in one year.
Not if Carthage,Sardina,Macedon, and possibly rome have any thing to say about it. If Rome sides with us he has free access across the whole Mediterranean. I will aslo help him take italy faster. All you can offer is a bunch of sand and shrubs in the outskirts of the sea.
Your only hopes on victory is Rome, though I don't see why they'd join you, they'd have nothing to gain by siding for you, except for their eventual conquest.. Besides, our combined navy is more than enough to face you in the open seas. Besides, even if Athens fall, we have the full might of Persia behind us, and Anatolia is fully defensible. Tyre itself is one of the strongest fortresses in the world, it will never fall to jumped-up barbarians.
Like the harbor of Athen's? Be nice if Mosh was active so we can finish our battle. Seriously we would be at Tyre by now...
Tyre will be burned to the ground before it falls into the hands of mindless savages. Your unwashed Spartan hordes will be crushed by the might of Tyre, the Levantines and Persia though, so we don't really have to worry about that.
There are 2 of you. Athens is to busy fighting me by land to arm there fleet. NEVER fall to barbarians, I guess Alexander just rolled over in his grave. Even if Rome doesn't help you should look at what Macedon said. http://josefvstalin.com/members/general-mosh.207/ . Persia will show to be a useless ally against the Greeks. You think the government of Athens will want to keep on fighting me if I siege there city walk up to them put a sword to the neck and demand surrender on MY terms.
We have Athens, Tyre, the Levantine Kingdom, Persia/Babylon, and, if they know what's for their benefit, Rome. Macedon has so far proven to be a useless ally, and your only hope of victory is founded upon your numbers and the myth of Spartan skill. Also, your troops are weak of will and easy to betray. Carthage itself was almost lost when it seemed you would lose, and Persia is nowhere near as weak as you would have the world believe. It's forces are certainly more powerful than the armies of Sparta and it's allies combined. If you know what's good for you, you will surrender now. Anyway, Alexander was a great general, your Spartan forces are worthless when compared to him. You will fail where he succeeded, should you even dare to approach Tyre.
What are you talking about Macedon was on my side when he left, they had a government coup to join my side in the war.
