Tyre tires of this war (no pun intended). The one chance of prosperity returning has been thrown away by the Athenians. We would like no open negotiations with Sparta. We do not want any part in this destructive conflict any more. We will take a neutral stance, like Dalmatia.

Will Sparta accept this, and proceed to negotiations?

We will be willing to leave Sparta to it's war. We will avoid any hostile actions towards Sparta and it's allies. We will cease supplying any side in this war and continue to trade neutrally, like Dalmatia. However, we would like control over Cyprus, and eastern Crete. The control over eastern Crete is negotiable, though we will keep full control on Cyprus.

I don't own Eastern Crete, Carthage does. Western Crete is non-negotiable being it lies to close to Sparta. We will give you full control of Cyprus however it is currently occupied by Levantines. We will legally give it to you, but Levantine's control it.

We offer free trade in Rhodes and allow Tyre to open a naval port that can hold about a hundred vessels.

Rome request trade agreements with Sparta, Athens, Carthage, and Tyre.

Tyre will accept these terms and withdraw it's forces. We will also come to an arrangement with the Levantines on the state of Cyprus, at a later time.

Also, we will move the 18,500 Babylonian forces to northernmost Tyre. Settlers will be sent in a transport ship, along with a small garrison, to set up a trade outpost on Rhodes, along with a functioning dock.

Tyre does not feel the need to trade with Rome as of yet, as we must recover from the war, and many Tyrian goods are making it to Rome through the Dalmatian trade deal, which ferries our goods to far-off provinces. We will trade with you once our economy recovers.

OOC: I'd just like to say at this moment, without any in-game repercussions, that Rome is tactically retarded. They could have burnt Carthage to the ground whilst it was essentially undefended and then seized Sardinia, giving it full control over the west Mediterranean.

OOC: I was thinking about this as well. I think there is 2 sides. It depends do you want to be remembered as a warmonger and have a lot more land, or allies all throughout the Mediterranean and be remembered as just helping allies? Look at the map and argue we don't control most islands.

Meh, the amount of isles you have doesn't threaten me anymore. Cyprus is now a forward post for us, and gives us a strong naval presence in the area. It could also be used as a buffer, should any foreign aggressors declare war. Though it will mostly be for trade.

Tyre, despite not losing any ships, since they were all in safe locations, will begin building twenty more war-galleys, which should bring our ship count to seventy-five when completed. I'm also going to assume those five galleys I began producing ages ago were completed.
