GoC I'm going to be honest your checkmarks made it almost impossible to understand which side you were own.
Universal Healthcare is not socialist. In Germany, the first reforms to get to Universal Healthcare for free (basically) were introduced by Bismarck in 1883.... you can't tell me, that he was a socialist.
So people who's actions tend to be of another philosophy can't go against the grain & do something that is against a majority of what they have done in the past? Edit:Okay back on topic this will steer us way off track.
Funny, you accused GoC of doing exactly that.... No... EDIT: Also, I really think that guys who are against free healthcare for those who need and otherwsie can't afford it, are basically anti-social assholes...
No, there were a number of things in his post that conflicted, while I am only picking at one of Bismarck's. Edit: & if you actually want to keep this discussion going PM me, but don't keep derailing the thread.
Dude.... do you get it? You pick one point from GoC (only one), and then pick one (the same) point from Bismarck, but use it for the exact opposite argument.... Just admit that you can dislike socialism, and be a good human that likes Universal Healthcare, and admit that your remark about it was dumb. Then I will stop arguing. And no, I have no interest in writing PMs with you at any time in the near furture.
You really need to look at the original conversation. I was NOT getting mad or showing any aggression. I wasn't questioning wither it he was a good or bad person. All I said was those two positions made it hard to guess what party he was in, etc. Edit:& seriously? You are acting like a little kid. "I will keep this conversation going until I get my way!!!"
Don't care, I want you to admit that questioning people for having opinions that in your , narrow and closed, world view don't fit, is stupid...
Did you just get here? I didn't ask him a question. I didn't say his belief is stupid or wrong. I said that those two beliefs together made it hard to see what party/ideology he identified with. Jesus Christ. @Dreagon I think it says "learn too Tylenol"
I don't think that would matter in any way... I said, you questioned his views, meaning that you didn't think they are compatible. I never said that you asked anything. Please lern to read and understand your own language. You said it is not compatible to ba anti-socialist but pro healthcare. A few posts later, you admitted that Bismarck can be an anti-socialist but introduce health care. A stance on universal healtcare does not make an ideology. As we found out with your view on Bismarck, you can have any ideological background while still think universal healthcare is a good thing. he has nothing to do with this topic, but fyi, he was a socialist.
Matthew 19:21 "Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." If thats ain't socialist, I don't know what is... Edit: Mark 10:25 "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. "
