Ah yes the EB team found that very difficult from what I recall. However they managed to intergrate some Punic voicing for battles, and well they sound very Semitic to me.
Which is why I think only a few latin phrases should be included. Overall I don't really have problem with the factions not speaking their native languages since it makes things alot more complicated for the team making the game.
You know what, I want a giant red SPQR banner now that I've seen the Rome II trailer. Can't wait until MMXIII.
Probably a turn a year. How would naval battles play out? Catapult and ballista ships would be range, and I guess certain triremes would have rams built in for marine combat.
Thats late game stuff I think. Also do you guys think they'll start Rome 2 before the the first punic war?
I'm going to save up money and buy a a new rig just so I can run this game, it's going to be amazing also flaming pigs will look absolutely amazing, can't wait to watch that sizzling pork run across the battlefield
I always thought those units were absolutely useless. What possible use could they have other than make some units route faster?
they scared the shit out of elephants lol and who cares having flaming pigs run around is entertainment in itself because I can't do that legally in real life. Also the attack dogs the Romans had were pretty funny as well
well duh I can't wait to march my legions forth to crush the barbarian scum. Quick question are you an Imperial or Republic man?
I like to read about the Roman Republic more, so I suppose I'm a Republic man. Whatever you mean by that.
