The COG is Greek. There the only ones colonizing there. You'll build a wall across southern Italy? You don't own the land there, so you literally couldn't.
Yeah.... Anyway so am I like powerful now? Anyway, can you update me on the rest of the world? Demosthonese convinces the people of Athens to pay a sum of 10,000 silver talents to (the levantine kingdom?) (Is that what you are skyice?). Also, Athens immediately begins rebuilding its navy, ordering the contruction of 100 triremes.
LOL. I can tell you that Sparta lost the war. Ask Sky and Thefatkid for the rest. IoM citizens will now recieve military training, but remain civies. Bastilla are added to city, coastal, and dock defenses as well as on all Fleets with the exception of Third Fleet, which is still returning from Tyre. Macedonian ships retrieve armor from Rome and make way to join the forces moving on Kiev. Moscow finishes training the 10,000 countryside peasents into professional soldiers. Another 10,000 is added to the training regime from the remaining peasent ranks.
A little more. The released nation is a puppet of the Leventines. (Guy you just talked to) That and they own all islands in Eastern Mediterranean. The Greek defense Pact is still in place. We are Sparta esque Nazi Germany.
That same alliance was the one that threatened all peace in the mediteranean. If Sparta does not break off this alliance to prevent events from the past from repeating themself, The Empire will be forced to take drastic measures. (OOC: I'm not going to do appeasement like pre-world war 2 allies. I mean, come on, you can still keep Sparta. Don't make me take another chunk of the Peloponnese away from you and make... I don't know... Thebes? Seriously man, you can evil plan all you like, but allying with Sparta and Carthage is NOT the way to do it.)
Carthage dos control half of the mediterranean. Carthage has a fleet to almost rival the east. You have lots of land near you.
Your sorta powerful. You don't owe me literally, you just owe me like, I would think Athens would want to ally itself with the Empire, since the Empire and it's ally's (The Empire and Friends ^.^) were the ones who fought the majority of the Spartan armies, and saved Athens from being looted and it's fields salted. I'm the Levantine Empire now. 100 triremes is alot. Each province is 10,000 people, and each trireme is 200 people. You military can be up to 50% of your populous.
The Scythian navy blockades the area around Istanbul so as to prevent any Macedonian ships from entering the Black sea. Christ Imperial, then I train 10,000 levies into soldiers. Can we just do the siege already? My entire army is just frozen in time around Moscow while you train your army.
Every time we try evil plan you butt-in and tell us not to... WHY YOU DO THAT! However, for now we will stay out of axis I guess. No I had to offer peace treaties.
Historically I think Athens had a few hundred triremes so.....And yes an alliance with the Levantine Empire will be in our best interest. After a rousing speech, Demosthones convinces most of the assembly to consider an alliance with the Levantines after they saved our asses against Sparta.
First, I could care less about your fleet. Second, you do not control half the meditteranean. I'm sure @Imperial1917 and @russianguy8745 would disagree with that. Third, the COG can literally not expand ANYWHERE except for Italy. They are not part of the Levantine Empire, understand that?
Athens had 180 triremes at the height of it's power, and only after building these for several years in preperation for the Persian wars. But you would have to give up a lot of population that could be used for Land armies if you did this. But it's your country.
