And the name says it all, it adds in the civil war to Empire Total War with all the technological advances that come with it. Such as rifled muskets, Gatling guns and powerful howitzers, which makes combat faster paced and deadlier. There are of course only 2 playable factions in the campaign the Confederates and the Union based on either the Warpath map or the vanilla Empire North American Map.
