I propose that the tribunes should at least have to tell us they are planning on passing something before they go ahead with it. They dont need our approval but it would be nice if they ran it by us first

Were I tribune, I would run every rule change by you guys. How else would a representative of the people make a decision?

We already do that (except people don't suggest things). Another thing you guys have to consider is that while all things announced by the tribunes were approved by them not everything was proposed by them.

Come on guys, to spite the entire Members base wanting them to, the Tribunes can't even Amend the 'Banned people can't run rule'. And rules have gotten strickter. It's clearly not what the people want.

We're doing that, it's only been a week...

Seriously, find one flaw/unfairness with the rules that has been passed so far

I don't like the new warnings. Those are bad, especially when we wanted more leniency. Can you guys just make a fucking poll for us before you vote on shit?

All your new rules suck and were never asked for. We wanted more leniency. You gave us less.

As Kal would put it, we need laissez-faire posting.

Actually, I would put it that way, and I have before.

Well he did too. I don't really care though, so you said it first. Congrats.

What new warnings? You mean imposing some rational standards for tribune candidates? The horror...

The tribunes can act independently, you guys can make your own polls which we'll take into consideration or you could just directly ask one of us (which you haven't been doing at all).
We'll put this up for discussion though.

Well maybe you should whine less and actually ask us for whatever it is you want.

Ok sure, I'll go make a list, brb.

    Here:

    1) Create a seperation in Hate Speech. Saying you think a race is inferior, and saying that it should be wiped from the planet are pretty differnet. There should be Mild and then Extreme Hate Speech. Mild being in Tier 1 and Extreme in Tier 2.

    2) The same should go with Piracy, as giving someone a song is not the same as giving them every game known to man.

    3) Amend the Active Warnings Rule to only deny running if at 2 Warning Points.

    4) Allow Impeachment at extreme positions. Stalin could veto this.

    5) A Call for Reformendum should be an act allowable by the People to revoke the Approval or Veto of the Tribunes on any decision should there be a 75% majority for revoking. Stalin could veto this.

    6) Implement Ler's system of only allowing two consecutive term limits.

    7) Amend the 'No one previously Banned can run' Rule to only include bannings for Tier 2 punishments.

    8) Unlock the Impeachment Suggestion Thread.

    9) Lower the Standards of Necroposting. It's not even worthy of Tier 1.

    10) More Mod Transperancy

    11) "4) In certain cases, NKVD Staff has the right to deviate from the above guidelines and issue custom infractions and if needed, ban any member in violation of any site rule."
    Remove or heavilly Ammend this.

    12) Break up 'Insulting Another User' into Mild and Extreme. Mild would not even work as Tier 1. Extreme would be Tier 1.

    13) Malicious Content is not worthy of a perma ban. One could easilly post a link not knowing it was possibly malicious.

    14) The Appeals system simply can't work. It can easilly end up being Mods convincing themselves it is right to ban/infract than both parties being recognized. It should be edited in some way.

It's pretty much decided, we're just waiting to see if Stalin has any last words on it and all that's left after that is to announce it (is that transparent enough?)

Now calm the the fuck down people (i.e. Link and Kara)

I would never have needed calming the fuck down if you would have made a thread about it.

I was never obligated to do that nor did I promise to do it. I didn't even consider it until you guys threw a fit about it.

    Edit:
    Where?

Well, we have been asking for it every since you guys approved that Active Warnings Rule. So like 3 Days. Which is plenty of time.
