This thread was meant to discuss what would happen in a war between China and the United States. I honestly think China would lose and its pretty obvious why, I have explored and considered every way the war would go but all have had China losing in the end.

China has a large infantry force but they have a pretty bad navy and airforce, especially when you compair it to America's. So if they send there whole navy across the Pacific ocean, our allies in South Asia or our hundreds of navy bases in the pacific would spot them and inform washington, and also as we all know they could only invade Alaska or the West Coast, if they invade Alaska they would have to go through Canada which would slow them down and make England declare war on them. And Alaska is a extremly bad strategic position, and also we are allies with Russia sp they would invade through the north while there army is eithier

    A. In America, unsupplied and outnumbered
    B. We are invading the East.

Also think how many Allies we have, America is allied with 2/3 countries in the World. Also finally...

Nuclear Bombs. How many does China have? Hardly any, U.S has about 20. I doubt any-one will disagree with me here.

I mostly agree with you, except about Russia. We may be allies, but then again, Egypt was also our ally and we didn't give a fuck when its despot was overthrown. And besides, Russia hates us and has much better relations with China.

I'm reading a book on IT security, and apparently China is ripping US IT security to shreds, which (especially) in the future will be a very large factor.

And while on some factors I think you're a bit too optimistic, I do agree that if there is a victor in this war, it'd probably be the US. China just lacks the capability to land anyone in the US, and I doubt they'll get much cooperation from the neighbours from the US.

There is no nation America could not defeat militarily, barring military alliances.

As opposed to the guy who is discussing and starting a discussion that has already occurred on multiple threads across the history of this forums?

I was merely stating a truth.

For that matter, the last thread that literally boiled down to a China v. America thread ended and went inactive not that long ago.

And might I remind you that this discussion inevitably boils down to the ooh-rahs v. maybe 1-3 people who believe differently?

Aside from this complaint, we both know that this thread will probably take the same path as all the others have.

    Clearly that is true.
Now, do you actually have something to say to the OP, or are you just trolling my post?

You will regret saying that when a Ugandan War Elephant is at your front door!

Sheldon: All right, I’m ready for my next question.
Amy: In a world where rhinoceroses are domesticated pets, who wins the Second World War?
    Sheldon: Uganda.
    Amy: Defend.
Sheldon: Kenya rises to power on the export of rhinoceroses. A Central African power block is formed, colonizing North Africa and Europe. When war breaks out, no one can afford the luxury of a rhino. Kenya withers, Uganda triumphs.
    Amy: Correct. My turn.
