There arent any dragons in greek mythology what you are refering to is called a Drakon which is a very large venomous lizard that can freeze prey with its sight. Its also flightless and is where the folklore of dragons originated.
Sorry guys was busy playing the witcher......... so what is this and more importantly what is it used for
Yeah, it's a mesoamerican knife used for sacrifices. Imagine that it was used to rip off people's hearts.
maddog was first so its your turn now. since it is obviously true. although yury clarified it further and gets bonus points for effort
Nothing to do with a tank this time (well, not really). I want to know where this photo was taken and to remember which event.
It's a monument for General Maczek, a brilliant polish officer. It's situated on the hill 262 "maczuga". It comemorates the battles of the Falaise pocket.
Ok, I wont give any hints on this one ( I expect someone will guess it easily): Which battle and why was this important?
pikes with musketeers positioned around them lead me to believe these are Spanish troops in the early modern era, maybe the Italian wars?
Ok, I can't hold off, but if it was a battle from the Italian wars, don't you think there would be knights in there?
