    That's Oliver Cromwell. He overthrew the English monarchy and created the Puritan Republic, which wasn't really a republic. I think he also conquered Ireland.

    the stari most bridge in the city of mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina, it was blown up during the yugoslav wars and then rebuild after the war.
