    Nestor Makhno, leader of the Ukrainian anarcho-communist Black Army, who fougth in the Russian Civil War. Nestor Makhno was able to form an anarchist society in the southeast of Ukraine (it was called the Free Terrritory), under the protection of it´s army. They were allied with the Bolsheviks until 1920 to maintain the Sovereignty of the territory. But the alliance was broken that year because the Soviets saw Maknho as a treat for their power and started accusing him of ruling the territory as a warlord and of being a leader of a military clique. The Free Territory was conquered and Nestor went to exile, dying in Paris in 1934.
