    This thread is about the man who was the head of the F.B.I. (Federal Bureau of Investigation). This guy was horrible. He threw Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in jail for NO REASON!

    He also ruined the career and life of Melvin Purvis (one of his closest friends and partners) because he was doing better than Hoover was at fighting crime and getting more publicity in the media. Hoover was a competant crime fighter but he was also pretty corrupt and pompous...
