Some are saying this is just a scam and a few are claiming its a some sort of way to get Uganda to trust the USA so then they could " steal there oil " ( WTF? ) Anyhow there are 2 sides. I want you to discuss your opinion on the matter. I used to support them, then I did some research and listened to the other members about the dangers of supplying the Ugandan army, if you look back at the soviet invasion of Afghanistan, some people supplied the taliban and I don't have too much knowledge on them I think we supplied them.
By default I distrust any idea of my country "intervening" in foreign affairs. Also, I doubt stopping one warlord is going to improve conditions in Uganda.
I know for certain the french heavily supplied Saddam but i don't know if we supplied Taliban, probably.
