Bringing race into a 21st century debate is the first step to losing the debate. I know you would love to believe that there is some sort of grand racial conspiracy against Arabs and Africans, but truth is, there isn't. I have lived all around the world, and I can tell you that racists are a dying breed. Minorities are actually getting special treatment in some places, which is ridiculous. Here is the facts though. People in the world do care about Africa and the Middle East. That's why they pump billions in funds into them every year. Just because they don't hold your genocides in the same light doesn't make them racist. Most people in Europe and America couldn't name a African leader, much less could they remember the horrors their people go through on a daily basis. They aren't educated on the subject, so to speak. Is that right? No. Is that their fault? No. The reason the Holocaust is remembered is because people know it so well. They have a basis for the grief. If they had that for the African genocides, they would grieve on the same level, no question. And many do, which is why Africa receives insane amounts of aid from the people and governments of Western nations. The people want to help, it's just a matter of how those funds are used, and they can't control that. So stop acting like you see all that others do not. You don't. Your just pissed off because Africa and the Middle East are in a shitty situation, and will be for the foreseeable future. You have every right to be. But instead of claiming how the white man is bringing you down, you should actually take steps to learn how they are slowly improving the situation. It's the dictators with foreign funding that are fucking up Africa, not the Westerners. So get off your high horse.

I don't think they needed to make a whole movie it does a good job mocking itself.

I applaud that people have their own opinions on the rebels and the loyalists.

But to say somebody got owned in a argument is childish, get on the bus people.

Isn´t it strange that the country (which is Algeria) where 6 armoured Mercedes where seen entering it from the border with Libya, is the only neighbour country who still didn´t recognized the NTC as the sole representitive of the libyan nation?

    What do you think people?

Algeria already denied this, but this country had great relations with Ghaddafi´s
    government.
I didn´t said before, but aparently the cars crossed the border under the protection of nomadic troops. If Ghaddafi wasn´t in one of those cars, the why were they under protection?

Racism is dying in some parts int he world but many it isn't. Haitians are discriminated against in the Dominican Republic and in even parts of Brazil the oh so, "color blind" society those of darker skin are told to take elevators whilst only 1.7% of them goes to college despite being around 50% of the population.

I don't believe the West is looking into the betterment of the Middle East or Africa, they're looking to insert themselves into the policies in order to take a greater role in their future so that they can benefit from the resources held. Was Saudi Arabia even on the map to the West before oil was found there? The Gulf states did not even exist until there was oil found in these regions.

And in the South, some still believe they're God's people. A disproportionate amount of Blacks/Hispanics are in jail when in the 1930s in America the jails were spread between an equal portion of races.

And yes I know race doesn't exist, but guess who created it? It continues to rip apart societies and even though it may be getting better around where YOU live doesn't mean it gets better everywhere. Such as the wars perpetuated in Darfur by what the Western media dubbed as "Arab janjaweeds" despite the janjaweed also being dark skinned only difference being they spoke Arabic instead of an African language. So why then use racial classifications to describe a war being fought in a land Americans never heard or even existed?

I don't believe the West is well intentioned, they want to remain on top. It's not being done through technological advancements, although some is, but through re asserting dominance in regions they had to relinquish control of after colonization.

And the fact is no one has answered me why Mubarak was so supported by the West, and *gasp* matt, Israel, yet harbored a dictator. If the West wanted to intervene to take back their money, like when they tried to do when Nasser nationalized the canal, why didn't they try to remove Mubarak? Why did they continue to support him? And don't say America forced him to throw actual elections because those elections never happened and those who opposed him were thrown in jail and later freed.

You may have fooled the Disney kiddies here but I don't believe in fantasy, I live in the real world.

We never said we agreed with them supporting Mubarak. We never said NATO didnt have any interest in Libya. Wouldnt you agree that removing a DICTATOR who fired on NON VIOLENT protestors should be removed regardless of the motive? ANy dictator being removed is good. I wish they didnt support Mubarak, but at least Mubaraks gone, and thank god another dictator is going down as well. And if you didnt know, Syria is all over the news here in America

And anyway, Im probably one of the few people in my class who can pinpoint where Libya and many other random countries on the map are
