    Something I've been wondering about Gadaffi is whether he intends his name to start with the Arabic letter kha or if he intends it to be started with hha, because that would answer a lot of the confusion surrounding it's pronunciation... Personally I think it starts with the kha but I can't tell for certain.

    EDIT: In case anyone knows the actual spelling, this is the letter I believe starts off his name (?), which would mean we should be calling him Khadaffi...

    Sound it out phonetically in Arabic. Kha isn't really Arabic, perhaps ancient Egyptian but really Arabic.

    The name Gad is Arabic. It's Gadaffi the d is hard the "h" is silent in English but not necessary in Arabic.

    not to be shown on cnn........ etc. yes because it's complete bulshit. I stoped watching when they showed somebody in a hospital hit in the neck by an apache helicopter rocket (hydra or hellfire).     The last few days have been bad for the rebels in Sirte and Bani Walid, having lost many people this last days, but they also have totally conquered Southern Libya.

    Can Ghaddafi and some of his sons be inside Sirte or Bani Walid, thus explaining the great ressistance inside this cities?
