    The UN handed down a mandate to protect the citizens endangered by the conflict... Britain and France were the primary advocates of NATO intervention in particular, but almost the entire world is behind the rebels.

    Opposition to involvement isn't centered on Gadaffi being a good guy, it's about whether or not the mandate was fair in the first place. Everyone agrees Gadaffi is a bad guy.

    Yeah, self-defense is the only 100% acceptable cause for war, so it's perfectly okay at this point for nations to use their military in any manner they see fit (so long as it complies with I-law) against Gadaffi's Libya.

    I particularly don't support any side in this war. Gaddafi murdering scum orders his henchman or army to go out and kill his own blood, it's just brutality at it's finest. NATO, well don't get me started on them. I never support any US/NATO operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and now Libya.
