Too addictive, like Civ 5, you look at your watch and think, 'Ok I'll just finish this one building', 8 hours later its 5 o'clock in the morning and you have to be up in an hour to get ready for work, yet you don't stop playing. Thats how good that game is.
Civ 5 was addictive for a few days, kinda wore off after that. On topic, yes, I have it. I have actually made some skins for the Steampunk texture pack.
Its a bit annoying how recently notch has lost his spirit in minecraft and yeh have to agree that minecraft is by far one of the most addicting and funnest games ive played in my life especially when it comes to the multiplayer aspect of that game.
The Creepers, oh god the creepers. They always spawn in even the tiniest patch of darkness and then come out and blow up on me and destroy ma beutiful cave house. *shudder*
LOVE IT. I have been having trouble trying to set up a private server to play with some friends but other than that the game is amazing
The amount of times I had just finished building something to have a creeper blow up in my face and a massive crater in the floor and the structural wall in my building gone. I have ragequit many a time.
I'm new to Minecraft, but its an epic game. I play on a private server with some dudes from CFC forums. We claim land, form factions, have an economic system, and conduct war and diplomacy. We enhance our gameplay greatly with a few mods.
We're a bit swamped from what I can tell. Need to upgrade the servers. I'm not quite sure as I'm a noob myself. We've just started a new world and not a lot has happened. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=411844
Thanks I'll check it out tomorrow, I need to be up early for a job interview, and if I start on minecraft now, I won't be done until sometime next week.
I figured this was the best place to upload this! [attachment=0:q44mi0n4]Stalin!.png[/attachment:q44mi0n4] It's really just an Bismark skin someone made that I modified, not really anything special. Feel free to use and distribute it, with credit, please. Anyway, I am tempted to call Minecraft the game of 2010, but I think I'll hold off until Minecraft is officially released.
Not that I was going to let you guys join... It was going to be private. But I tried for hours to set one up but I couldn't seem to get the port forwarding right
